Since this thread was directed at me...I will repeat my response....
Deleted, if you read my posts you would see that I vermently hate this government and it's leader.
But I'm smart enough to know that the only protest is ...
1. To vote against them
2. Actively inform others of the social disharmony/ division etc they are creating
3. Sell up (contract goes unconditional next Friday) and leave for abetter place where I don't have to put up with such shit!
You're choice is to ...
1. Actively defend the demise and huge cost this govt has and continues to impose on NZ
2. Believe in a system and process that affirms dumb minorities ideas and policies on your freedom
3. Pay thru the nose for everything you need inorder to appease the virtue signaling dreamers.
5. Continue to live in a country that is full of racial, criminal, fiscal and societal disharmony
I think I'm the winner and anybody who stays in NZ will be worse off .. fiscally, socially, safety, health, ...
I have nothing to lose...what do you have?
I am happy with NZ. I generally feel that all countries I have lived in are rooted as well and it is always pros and cons.
I have lived in the UK (4yrs), Australia (7yrs), Hong Kong (2yrs), France (1yr), Japan (1.5yrs).
I toured Europe and Scandinavia for 12 months and toured the US and Canada for another 12 months - but I would not call it living in those countries, you're kind of outside the day-to-day system when you're touring.
I came back to NZ in 2006 cause I like it here. I am not sure where else I would choose. Fortunately I have triple citizenship (UK/nz/au) so I can work in many countries. Although I have not kept track of what's happened to my rights since brexit.
I have definitely looked around at other opportunities, there are plenty, but I don't really think that NZ is either heading or is already in a worse place.
As for what do I have to lose, I don't believe I will lose anything...
Where are you off too? Why have you determined it's better than NZ?
PS congrats in your nearly unconditional sale
be I to have triple passports(NZ, USA, Great Britain)
I would live in Spain, Croatia, France, Portugal, Greece tommorow but for Brexit and Putin.
Love Israel, Egypt and Turkey
Have lived in Many countries and traveled many many more.
