Young 15 year old kid from New Plymouth Boys High wrote a speech for his skool competition, made it to the finals, then got told he wasn't allowed to to read it in the finals of the comp. He reads the speech to Plunkett, bit much religion for my liking but I'd love to have had his prose when I was his age. Sounds like he has their measure anyway. Also said he took a 'stop co-governance' booklet to skool, gave it to a friend who was reading it in class. The teacher saw it, took it off the kid and ripped it up on the spot. It's nice to see this get some attention and put some pressure back on the screws who think they are judge, jury and executioner. |

It is fascinating how bereft of any career outside of politics this lady is. Most ex PM's would have got a Directorship or two wouldn't they? Even Paula Benefit, one of the thickest pollies alive, has managed a Chairperson spot. Even Fatty Robinson managed to land a qushy unaccountable ridiculously paid job in NZ. Ardhern? Having to go for hand-outs from the Merican's. That she can't get an actual job anywhere speaks volumes. |

Problem is, they did select him, then they deselected him which is what they're calling in the lawyers over) What ever happened to admitting you were wrong. Or at very least, the situation had been handled poorly, apologising, and learning from your fuck up... Can't see this ending well for the pompous principal... |

I'm not sure why anyone would read te Harrold, but it's good to see they're making so much money they can turn down adverts and pander to what some minority political party tells them to do. A jellyfish would have more spine than the people running harrold. |

So young Oliver Jull had his meeting with ze headmazter and ze headmazter told him he didn't get to do his speech because it wasn't good enough.
