Another policy to drive health proffesionals overseas or into early retirement. NZ's future is very depressing.

Well the position of "Race Commissioner" is not racist what is, it all comes under the "Human Rights Commissioner" just reinforces the path NEW ZEALAND is going down.

How can that be consistent with the Bill of Rights?

PS, We all need to stop referring to the Maori Party as 'TPM' (ti parti maori), but 'RDP' the Racial Division Party.

With that muppet MP Rawiri declaring that the Maori Parties Iwi is the Mongrel Mob it's not going to get any better.
Mind you that does explain why 500 Mongrel Mob have far more privileges than all of the 140,000 people that went to Field Days.

Nah, policies like this are awesome. This will be their 'shower head' moment. They're now officially goneburger come October. Well we can all live in hope. But… even with Labour removed, the mere fact this legislation / policy was able to be introduced worries me that the racism is more broadly baked into the NZ system beyond the politicians. Otherwise, surely any sensible political adviser would have said to them “You have to be joking - this is as explicitly racist as South Africa’s apartheid program was. If you try to introduce this you’re history at the next election.”

during the key years the lefties became councillors and professional bureaucrats as a way to force their undemocratic agenda through
they are of course still there now blowing cash and changing rules as fast as they can so like muldoon+goff etc, they leave a poisoned position and finances for the next gov.

Everything in life gets prioritied. I dont have a problem with that. But to the extent that health care needs to be rationed it should be done on need, not race. I get what they are saying about prior access etc, but you dont fix that by creating an adverse outcome for one race to compensate for the other race's poor prior access, choices etc. That is lowest common denominator stuff.

lowest common denominator stuff is what woke is all about equal outcomes at any cost! preferably dragging the bottom to the top but if that doesn't work and it never hasdragging the top to bottom will still provide equal outcomes and bottom up chaos is backed by the 4,000 year of written history

Talking to a friend about this over lunch and he said “we’ve got to get out of here”, meaning emigrate. He came here (from Argentina) 20yrs ago and, like me, now doesn’t recognise the country we came to.
I’m glad that last week I met my boss to discuss exiting NZ - he agreed to help make it happen.
So now the question is, where to next…?

So now the question is, where to next…? There is always that other option. Getting stuck in and changing it. I.e. get politically active. Joining ACT costs $20 for a 3 year membership. Of course the work comes with the activism I've done my time overseas, born here, so aren't interested in bailing, aside from the question of where to? Easier to make change from within. Most things move in cycles, we have clearly gone way to far to the racist side. Noting that even the Labour PM sees that and has already toned down the 3 waters / co-governance stuff and a few other things. Hopefully come October we will get some sense back into parliament and the pendulum will swing back to a more central / goldilocks position.
