I am looking at the weed issue in lawn as well. So will pass on whatever I find. Hopefully it won't be, "well from my experience, after killing the brand new Lawn, don't use x".
I was thinking the product called "Weed and Feed", but need to read the directions, which goes a bit against the Grain of being a real Kiwi bloke, but....
I planted the grass about 3 months ago. The weeds are all doing great. I am worried about spraying the weeds with the grass so new and it being pretty hot. I seem to remember a long time back reading the instructions it said not to do in Summer.

I've laid kikuyu ( 4 beers and can't spell and word check is useless) out front and no worries but the Main "social area" ( snobby aye🤪)is giving me the "screaming meemees"! Cos we live coastal and on free draining soil we have t he is in ⁷o have kikuyu ( fuck! How do you spell it!?!?) But I don't want it growing/ creeping ( like prince Andrew) into our exotic (not erotic) garden. My latest thought was to go synthetic, do the mahe, and sit back and enjoy... But it freaken big $$$$. Right now, In my semi intoxicated state, I'm staring at a lawn that is 50% weeds/Brown grass, 50,% grass, yet 12 months ago it was 101% grass. You know, it might be easier to buy a big live aboard yacht, sell the motor mower, and free up my life. |

24D was the stuff a few years ago, I think it got renamed pasture clean, kills all the flat weed shite and leaves the grass alone, cockys used a lot of it, probly not the best on new grass tho, I live in Waiuku out west, ki killia thrives, stays green in the summer tho
