No 15m berths available at Whiti marina.
So now looking for any private berths available in the waterways.
Otherwise, what’s the best options for overnighting in the river - is holding good enough for anchoring or moorings available for 15t boat?

Tide runs fast in the river, suggest you touch base with DP, he lives in Whitianga and might be able to put you in touch with someone in the waterways |

Not sure that comment would be allowed on any other nearby forum.
Reminds me of a New Years in Galway. A half naked local guy with a massive bonner was running around the hostel we were staying in not long after midnight. He was overjoyed to hear our ascents and that we were kiwis, as it meant there was a high likelihood we had contraband in our possession, being condoms.
His GF was, err, 'in the mood' for the first time ever, by all accounts, but wouldn't let him near her without the appropriate prophylactic.
Being the gentlemen were are, we were able to provide him with the appropriate contraband and avoid an unwanted increase in Ireland's population.
It never occurred to me you simply can't get condoms in regional Ireland. Reminds me of certain oppressive states in the middle east.
