Are " the collective we" biased or rational thinkers.
In my mind the labour left Loony's are left and would never consider right as an option. They are Rabid.
I am right leaner but see some value in some left ideas and have some empathy with thier position on some issues... not fucking many though with this current bunch of toe fungai!
Thus I think I am more rational than your typical leftie.
I feel most here are similar. We see the value of morals..., the stupidity of piss poor policy's, and the current disaster direction Donkey Chops has plotted for us.
The question is... Besides the " blind faithful" supporters, why can't the rest see the doom that is this labour government?

Besides the " blind faithful" supporters, why can't the rest see the doom that is this labour government? your question is a very philosophical one, bit like asking what is the answer to the life, universe, everything... I guess it comes down to how we are "wired" and what pushes our buttons. We all have our biases and contradictions that are our drivers Consider the scenario of giving 5 economists a set of data and asking them to provide a particular analysis - you would think it is just numbers - yet you can guarantee they will come up with 5 different answers. I see the same in my profession (engineering) all the time. On a more simplistic level consider the Holden vs Ford rivalry, people supporting a particular sports team no matter what or even more simply still why do some of us prefer brunettes and others blondes. I think there are a number of answers to your penultimate question "why can't the rest see the doom that is this labour government", some of these being 1. Apathy - as long as they are not impacted they don't care. We are political "junkies", alot have little/no interest in what is happening maybe only tuning in around election time 2. Embarrassment - don't want to admit they "backed the wrong" side 3. Have bought into the fear/brainwashing - think of the crazy mums rushing their kids off to be jabbed 4. Without being "blind faithful" they have always supported the Labour Party 5. This may upset some but my view is there is a proportion of the population who are just too "thick" to understand what is going on

Nice answer 👍.... And I think you covered it!
Apathy is interesting 🤔...
I believe apathy is what the Donkey Chops advisers target ( Arderns to thick to figure anything out by herself except the agenda headline she wants)
They beat you down with so much shit that you go "argh fuck it, it's too hard, to far gone, life's to short, and let the young losers, that voted Labour, pay the heavy price of DCs socialist ways.
I think the Ardern infused apathy plus the Covid mind fog, called the red haze, has made people in mentally " Detuned and forgetful.
This in turn has put people in "park mode"
But,I believe a good reminder campaign focussing on the barrage of fuck ups created by Donkey Chops and her useless MPs could be enough to wake the "Parked up" masses and let them see the light.
I see it that Ardern has the elderly ( covid fear) and mindless youth ( climate fear and educated by leftie lezzies) as her biggest supporters . Yet they are the biggest losers in this current regimes costly agenda

Oh, on the Ford v Holden thing.. I used to be a Ford man, cos of the old mustang, but then I grew up and figured I would go with faster and more reliable...
Remember the Nissan skyline that won the Mobil 500 wellington street race... That put it into perspective for me.
Now I like particular cars instead of brands.. and keep away from Italian a Russian cars

Yet they are the biggest losers in this current regimes costly agenda From a random sample of people around me I think the young (teens/20's) are actually having their eyes opened that they have been "sold a pup" . They went and got double jabbed on the basis they could go to all the events over Xmas, many of which finished up being cancelled. Now they are facing boosters jabs/no jab no job mandates and are seeing just what a politicians promise is worth. They are already rebelling, I have heard from several sources lots of teenager, being IT savvy, have figured out how to generate Vax passes on the sly. I believe Cindy's support basis remains strongest with the 30-50yr old women, those who like to see a woman in power, bought into the fear porn, like the empathy (the last being advice from a woman in ACT). I think you will find the older women 60+ are very divided because alot are very down to earth and can see straight thru Cindy's BS

God I hope you're right (sound's totally plausible). It's hopefully the same with the greens... They have failed to deliver most things except debt... Future debt.
You're right about the woman vote. They m want Equality but fail to understand it that nobody has ever stopped them having it. and ... Donkey chops is not really thier friend when you consider having a voice, as a woman, in a Ardern controlled, Maori manipulated, minority focused, socialist, " save the poor gay Maori whales" government, is not a priority.
