this makes me realise I’ve owned many of my favourites… I used to own this one (actual photo of mine taken on a tour of wine chateaux in France many moons ago 😊) I still own this one (love it and would never swap it for a poncy Range Rover) I would like to own this one (even more functional than my Discovery)

DP should be on here shortly - he could write a book (and open a museum) on the various iconic sports cars he’s had!

Shitters I've owned...
Fait125 special, the ball bearing rattle of the free flow exhaust got me! , 4 side draft Webber's, twin cam, fast but just a glorified Lada... then it turned to crap .... But I did learn every thing there is to know about fixing cars🤪😋.... Every farking thing!
Vauxhall ( say no more) Chevette hatch back .. FFS what was I thinking.
Daihatsu Charade turbo. A quick 3 cyl shitter. Reliable but a real embarrassment.... Except when you blew people if at the lights.
The goodies ..
1960 spilt screen VW Kombie.. used to go to the gas station and say " fill er up and check the pertrol".... Used / dropped a lot of oil but was great.
1977 XB Falcon... Straight 6, 3 in the tree, too soft in the rear but a great cruiser.
To be continued....

I think I’ve owned about 50 cars, but I prefer my push bike to commute in Akl !
At least a dozen Race or Rally cars also over the decades also
Biggest regret was selling an RX3 circuit car which had previously raced at Bathurst Little did I know it’s future value when sold in 1986.. Never mind

Oops - needs updating.Daily runner is now a BMW X3 MSport Hah! Same as my wife. Just make sure you’ve got the right BMW spec tyres fitted otherwise the 4x4 diff system gets a bit unhappy (so we discovered)…

Just make sure you’ve got the right BMW spec tyres fitted otherwise the 4x4 diff system gets a bit unhappy (so we discovered)… Interesting re the 4 x 4 problem, I saw a Youtube clip about the problems Jeeps have with their transfer cases chewing out, the advice being that you cannot just replace 1 tyre, it has to be all 4 tyres to ensure their rolling radius remains equal. Sounds a similar situation. I think I will stick with my boring Toyotas (BMW= Breaks my wallet/Bring money withyou )

I see a Angle box there. That were so cool with fats on and 2.0 L cortina transplant. ... Other cool cars I rooted... Fiat bambina. Ford Cortina blazing orange ( company car) About 25 company vehicles. Just sold my 2019 triton 4x4 beast for more than I paid for it🤙. And brought a Sportage GTline and banked 15k. Get more in the back of the Sportage than the triton .. but miss the 3500kg towing cap.
