Not 43% of NZers there fella, it's more like 90% of 25 to 50yo females plus a large number of 'fucked if I know'.
Also there is still a big void in where would you go otherwise? Luxon is gaining more followers but he's don't nothing bar rabbit JA so those followers are traditional Nat voters who have just had enuff so are just going home. It's when push comes to shove a lot will be more honest to themselves.
Hell, when I get asked at the moment I say Ashley Whatshisface, Hone Honkeyhater or Phil Goff. I'd be interested to know how many others said St Ashley, I bet there would be a fair few.

I had an email exchange with Jesse Mulligan on RNZ yesterday. He seemed rather sensitive about being asked if he was too scarfed to be a real journalist...
RNZ had nothing on their website about the convoy protest, so I spammed all of the emails I could find. To be fair, Jesse did respond, so that is good.
They are still trying to talk it down as much as possible.

Jessie can be a great interviewer and seems a nice guy but sadly he’d rather play some music from a new band discovery than talk serious issues. He is a soft journalist for sure. |
