And NZ bimbo PM has told them that the new policy is "to be kind" Couple that with Spongebob squarepants Police Commissioner and a Police minister who appears to have got the job on the basis of quota allocation and what could go wrong ? From where we live (not Auckland thank heavens ) it seems ----everything. The social divide policy of Labour has worked superbly And by disarming the general populace and a numerically inadequate police force we're stuffed. Socially and financially. Thanks to those who voted for her bunch of incompetents , oh, and Winston.

Earlier in the week, an investigation was launched after a house was shot at and left riddled with bullet holes in south Auckland.
Additionally, on Saturday, three people were injured after an incident in south Auckland.
Police found one person had been shot in the thigh and another two people were left with head injuries.
On Wednesday night, there were two shootings - the first was in Vina Place in Massey and the second in the eastern suburb of Mellons Bay on Bleakhouse Road.
On Tuesday night, police said the Killer Beez and Tribesmen gangs were behind seven shootings in Εtara, Papatoetoe, Flat Bush, Papakura, Te AtatΕ«, Henderson and Mt Albert. www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zealand/2022/06/two-more-shootings-in-auckland-overnight-as-city-grapples-with-spate-of-gang-related-crime.htmlclearly labour DO have a gang problem "kindness" isn't working
ignoring the problem isn't either
so while labour seemingly focus most of their energies on their stealth revolution of nz language and governance
all the problems that have grown on their watch
will just continue growing

as the body count rises labour publicly admit the gangs are a "challenge" and privately admit their failure to clamp down could cost them vital votes
so now they are starting to "talk" about doing something who believes poto is up to the challenge? who believes poto is the best person to reign in the gangs? who believes she got the job because she was the "most capable" person? how many people have to die before the "most capable" is once again considered the "best choice" ? instead of this new idea that the "best choice" is the "most representative"www.1news.co.nz/2022/06/07/police-fatally-shoot-man-after-wellington-family-harm-incident/

from Kiwiblog
You have to laugh that Jacinda claims her Government is not soft on crime, at the exact same time as they are voting to change the law so that the most serious repeat violent and sexual offenders will get shorter sentences.
But their record is far more than that. They have also voted down 11 bills that would have been tougher on criminals:
Sep 2018 β voted down bill to allow Police to issue firearms prohibition orders against gang members with a history of firearms or violent offending Oct 2018 β voted down bill to allow for random testing of drivers for drug impairment May 2019 β voted down bill to increase maximum penalty for selling or supplying unapproved psychoactive substances from two to 14 years June 2020 β voted down bill allowing maximum penalty of 20 years for βcoward punchesβ causing death Mar 2021 β voted down a bill requiring a school to be notified if a registered sex offender lives within 5 kms of the school Apr 2021 β voted not to proceed with a bill that increases the maximum penalty for assaults on first responders or prison officers to 10 years April 2021 β voted down a bill imposing a maximum penalty of five years for killing a police dog June 2021 β voted down a bill that clarified carjacking is robbery Oct 2021 β again voted down bill to allow Police to issue firearms prohibition orders against gang members with a history of firearms or violent offending Apr 2022 β voted down a bill to ban the Government funding gangs May 2022 β voted down a bill to increase the power of Police to seize assets gained through significant criminal activity
So claiming they are not soft on crime comes close to gaslighting!

So claiming they are not soft on crime comes close to gaslighting!Referring to my post in the other thread about who is supporting Willie Jackson, Labour have obviously found a target rich voting demographic they can tap into. Criminals, criminal associates and families sorry, whanau of criminals. If you have to go visit Dad at Ngawha every weekend, then you might feel compelled to vote for the lovely lady that says she will let him out earlier... So he can sell more meth and pay for some nice new bling for you... Haven't had a new phone since he got busted, ya know. And we don't have the latest 15 ft flat screen TV. Have to sell a few ounces to pay for one, or go steal one... No joke, they all get to vote.
