No I would not vote for them, they would be over, National would disappear into oblivion if they came out with such a policy. Fortunately the majority of National voters (including me) are not racist and so this theoretical policy will never happen. For if it did you'd quickly realise how much of a minority you are. |

I think this is less about race and more about politics - specifically the different political approaches to equality vs equity. Some people / parties / politicians believe we should give everyone equal opportunity (usually called “equality”). Whereas others we should go past that and pursue equality of outcome (usually called “equity”). And it is a political / philosophical belief in seeking “equity” that leads to race-based systems being built - to try to create equal outcomes. And it is a political / philosophical belief that equality of opportunity is enough - and the systems should stop there and thereafter let nature run its course - resulting in different outcomes.
