for sure, in the old days it was the Cooks and Stewards union who used to shut the Cook Strait ferries down every Christmas

It’s been a long-standing tradition in Britain every Christmas for the railways to strike.
And then each summer the airport workers have a turn plus the French (and sometime Italian) ATC guys join in to stop the summer hols travellers.

yes, old enough to remember strikes, carless days etc. Times the Labour Party dream off (noting much of it was under the watch of NZs socialist PM Rob Muldoon, who hid himself in plain sight in the National Party )

This almost makes me want to cry.. there is a backlog like never seen before in this country right now to get anything and everything over the ditch, and these bastards know this.
