Thru check in process and security at AKL Int airport and to easy!...
Nobody around and bugger all open.
Qantas Emirates code share online check is a complete cluster fart!... But sorted a airport check in.
DPD Form for entry / transit through Brizzy a piece of piss.
Nothing required to transit Dubai
NZ covid immunisation passport went thru ok. .. and is accepted by EU.... So no paperwork required to enter EU
Got a 24hr supervised Rat done just in case. But no check at airport but may be checked at EU border... But I doubt it.
See you guys in spring. Keep up the bagging of this government and in particular Stalinda. ... I won't miss NZ and it's demise one bit.

2 of mine will be pleased to hear that, they are also off in 3 and 5 weeks. One for 2 years is the plan, the other is indefinite. A shed load of their mates are also off over the next few months. The way things are going the only people left in NZ will be those on the Ryman Senior Citizen Battery Farming facilities. Which then means at the 2023 or maybe 2026 election Winston has a good chance of scoring a majority  |

Live from Madrid.
37hour in flight/transits and not once did they check out our covid passport or our certified rat test docs. Entered Spain and only needed passport.
Emirates flights 1/4 empty. Most travelers were over 50 yo.
First flight to brizzy with Qantas was great except the small seat pitch.
Flew to brizzy inorder to get the Emirates A380 to Dubai then to Madrid. Rather than the 777 to KL. The A380 is just the best long haul plane!. I hate the noisey 777 screamliner.
Dubai airport quite and Madrid Centro empty of tourists... Awesome! 👍😁
Tomorrow we put on our packs and walk to Santiago de Compostella.
32 degrees 👍👍 here but it's not the intense heat that you get in Stalindagrad.
No hoodies, no - yo yo bro, no dodgy shite, and no freaken losers that I have subsidized.

Yeah it’s such a shame they’re retiring the A380. The 17hr flight between Auck / DXB used to be my favourite sector but now even that has gone. I’m hoping it gets reinstated soon otherwise I might have to rethink my London journeys.

Yes it’s always been good value there but nowadays cost of living makes NZ feel like Switzerland. Without the mountains or humour.

But the falling NZD ( thanks to Robertson,Ardern, and Orr) is tough to watch. Thank God I took out $10k euro Back when NZD was well above $0.60c Still, it will only get worse and I'm getting older, so fuck it!, enjoy it while ya can I say! Tested my EFTPOS/ debit card today to make sure it worked.. $800 cost $1332nzd |
