On Breakfast this morning (yes I was awake at that time) each household produces 2.8 tons of CO2 and they want to cut it back........what's the Mitre 10 advent from years ago......"you got to be dreaming mate"
These people will finally kill NZ if there is anything left after Labour has stuffed it up.

No where in that article does it reference previous temperatures equal or higher than that currently being observed.
Record keeping began in the UK in 1880. 142 years later the UK has recorded the hottest temperature ever.
The article claims that this has happened before, but provides no reference or facts to back that claim up and leaves the reader to do their own research.

The fact is, the previous highest recording in the UK since 1880 was 38.7 and that was recorded in 2019. Any moron, such as myself, with half an ounce of research ability can research that for themselves and see that the article is complete and utter bullshit. It would appear that you have not yet even reached the intelligence level of a moron. The first two pictures compare dates.
The whole point of the article is not to compare temps being higher but the change in colour for effect/ hype/ spin.
Your off subject search for higher temp records is superfluous. As there are higher temperatures back in 2009. It just depends on which county you compare....

I was in Norfolk for the heatwave and it was bloody hot but nothing I havent experienced in northland . But it did cause major disruption because they just aren’t set up for heat here they are geared up for cold winters . Trains north out of London stopped due to track temps of 60 degrees and overhead power lines sagging or something . Looking at windy app predictions there may be another heatwave next week
