It’s true that there have been periods of global warming and cooling—also related to spikes and lulls in greenhouse gases during the Earth’s long history.
But those historic increases in CO2 should be a warning to u; They led to serious environmental disruptions, including mass extinctions.
Today, humans are emitting greenhouse gases at a far higher rate than any previous increase in history.
Even the oil companies think that climate change is man made.
BP, the largest oil company in the UK and one of the largest in the world, has this opinion: There is an increasing consensus that climate change is linked to the consumption of carbon based fuels and that action is required now to avoid further increases in carbon emissions as the global demand for energy increases.
Shell Oil (yes, as in oil, the fossil fuel) says: Shell shares the widespread concern that the emission of greenhouse gases from human activities is leading to changes in the global climate.
Every major scientific institution dealing with climate, ocean, and/or atmosphere agrees that the climate is warming rapidly and the primary cause is human CO2 emissions.
Do you need me to list them all?

If your future funding depended on agreeing with it.....
Independent science is a bit like independent media, you aren't going to hear about on One News.

What about the companies that make gazillions from fossil fuels and report to there shareholders? What's your conspiracy theory for why they acknowledge that climate change is the result of humans?

How about for why these companies researched climate change back in the 1900's and buried the facts they discovered?
In 1982 Exxon completed a comprehensive, 40-page internal report on climate change, which predicted almost exactly the amount of global warming we’ve seen to date, as well as sea level rise, drought and more.
In 1986, Shell finished an internal report nearly 100 pages long, predicting that global warming from fossil fuels would cause changes that would be “the greatest in recorded history,” including “destructive floods,” abandonment of entire countries and even forced migration around the world.
The big American and European oil and gas companies publicly agree that climate change is a threat and that they must play a role in the kind of energy transition the world last saw during the industrial revolution.
Why would the oil companies have any interest in supporting this climate hoax?

D, you've gone down the wrong rabbit warren for to long. Open your eyes and see the other side bro. A little bit off topic but keep your own eyes open when you go house hunting In the cyclone and flood belt , more north is susceptible to cyclones coming across the top from the coral sea , further south you are susceptible to the south east rain dumps/floods as the cyclones move away . anywhere flat would be dodgy in this day and age especially in regards to insurance . I’m not sure the Aussie insurance companies would take kindly to an Ex NZ client in Queensland telling them to stick climate change policies up their ass 😂

Since Aussie policies have never cost me a cent I would never criticize them. ... That's the beauty of going there!... I've never contributed to thier crap.... That gives me mental freedom and no being pissed off.

Co2 @ about 409 ppm. Has been up to 2000 ppm way back if memory is correct. So we can agree that the planet's climate changes. Not many seem to mention the effect of the sun and earth's orbit. That's been the constant , not fossil fuels. As for sea level change that's not real in terms being promoted. It's all part of the fear regime being introduced to strip the middle classes of assets during the 'reset' and 'redistribution' And I think it's working as the middle classes fight and squabble while electing people to exploit the middle classes gullibility

Marsden point was a supplier too . It’s not absolutely crucial for meat products but it’s pretty hard to make beer and fizzy drinks without it .
