I've got to say, if Jacinda manages to spin her way out of this shitstorm, then I believe she actually deserves every dollar she is paid.

PS, in saying that though, I note that Stuffed had a low profile article way down the page that I had to actually look for, while second lead story was how the Finnish PM has been out dancing and needs to defend herself of such frivality.
PM goes dancing is given higher profile than our PM accused of blatant lies. Hmmmm, paid of media much?

There's at least 20 Labour MPs starring down the barrel of a gun anyway.
The reason for that can arguably be placed right at the top of the line, along with the other few incompetents that do get to have a say and call the shots.
its surprising how they have managed to keep so many of the mouths shut, its hard to believe some of the others are not equally disgusted by the way the Government is acting. Speaking up and getting some big changes happening might be all that can save them at the moment.
A few more by-elections would make good entertainment about now

Labour will have substantially less MP's after the next election. Those who are at risk already know it. They will be looking to the future. Let the bitching and infighting begin. Normally when a party knows they are going to loose they have a crack at changing leaders. I very much doubt anyone will have a crack at Dear Leader, especially considering they had to beg her to replace angry Andy. But there is nothing stopping those with nothing left to loose having a spray on the way out. The tipping point will be when Labour confirm their list. Right now, there will be much brown nosing and bending over to try and get high on the list. Elbows will be up, and everyone will be back stabbing. Christ, what a nasty work environment. Easier to get a real job. |
