Scene: Gulfland Marine, Whangaparaoa
Me: “Here’s my Yammy 15 for a service”
Bloke: “Got a booking?”
Me: “Nope”
Bloke: Laughs. “We can take it but you might not get it back until Feb. And that’s not guaranteed. We’ve got a backlog of 150 outboards to service.”
24hrs later…
Scene: Ovlov Yamaha Service Centre at Orams
Me: “Here’s my Yammy 15 for a service”
Bloke: Smiles. “Drive around and I’ll let you through the barrier.” We should be able to get it back to you before next weekend.”
Just saying.

Hmm..interesting. We're balls to the wall busy and very close to having to close off any new rope work this side of Xmas. But speaking around the country as we do some places aren't that busy which is not a good sign if they are marine based. Most of our marine seem very busy, all our rural are flat stick, Chandlers depends on where they are, infrastructure is going off and eating up rope like there is no tomorrow, oh yeah baby......bring it on, daddy wants a DesertX Ducati's new dirt bike to save you a google.
