Have a suss thru commercial auctions and business in Trade M. The amount of gear from closing down places is noticeably large and increasing.
I'm a little confused. Aren't you the one calling for higher wages yet your actions actively work against that happening. You call for more nurse and teachers yet again you work actively against that happening. You call for lower prices in what is a volume game yet again you work actively against that happening.
You import right?? So stop importing and start getting NZ manufacturers to make your gear. Cost slightly more but then higher wages would offset that,we dont pay enough taxes here to support nurses/teachers.. Why would I ant to pay 3 x times the amount from a kiwi company when I get for a 1/3 from overseas in less time? Wait till june/july when the petrol subsidy ends then you will see prices rocket in supermarkets. And more retail fails. Volume is the answer. sell 100 items for a small margin or 1 item with a huge margin that sits on the shelf, turn over is the answer. Actually eliminating wasteful govt spending is the answer. You cant tax or use protectionism to increase total economic wealth. Some of us are old enough to have seen it tried.

You're preaching to the choir here fella. I've been saying that for so long I think Hone Heke heard me say it.
Govt and council purchasing is done by morons, muppets and the plainly stupid.
