Blue Shark, china, is well worth a suss. Uba Umare (huge spelling warning) Italy, makes some awesome gear but does lean to top end so be more for very keen racers. Trem is a low level no name player but with intentions. There is a few other there.
Also it depends what Wishard intend to do with Ronstan. Both have differing styles, majority of their respective ranges vary, Wishard is more targetted and specialised than Ronstan the supermarket. Both have their place, we use both and there is feck all cross over. So maybe they stay under their respective brands. It's not like many brands with the same one owner is not common as muck and can work very well.

A mate up here has done a full fit out on his new sportboat and his mate imports the stuff . The product catalogue is like an encyclopaedia , they do everything from dinghy size up to massive.

I'd buy Blue Shark before Harken. In fact I do and have been for quite a few years, longer than anyone else in NZ So the dude actually sold some, BS will be pleased. We wondered if he would considering what appears to be a marketing plan based on keeping secret

Catalogue is at the local sailmakers with some bits of sparkly kit to peruse .

No secret squirrel just someone with a some skin in the game watching to see how things pan out. Good to see he's doing something, I must admit to be a little sceptical of the plans.
