Could you imagine woke little NZ hanging drug traffickers? I bet that would stop people bitching about the gang patch ban... Rosman’s hanging at Singapore’s Changi Prison comes exactly a week after the execution of a 39-year-old Malaysian and a 53-year-old Singaporean for drug trafficking. Despite its reputation as a modern city-state and international business hub, Singapore ranks among only a handful of countries, including China and North Korea, that impose the death penalty for drug offences. Under the country’s laws, anyone trafficking more than 500 grams of cannabis or 15 grams (0.5 ounces) of heroin faces mandatory capital punishment. Singapore’s government, which keeps a tight rein on public protest and the media, has defended the death penalty as a deterrent against drug abuse, citing surveys that show most citizens support the law. www.aljazeera.com/news/2024/11/22/singapore-hangs-third-drug-trafficker-in-a-week

Stopped for a couple of days on the way home 3 months ago and thought Singapore had gone backwards a little bit. Didn't seem quite as clean. Clark Key is starting to look a bit run down.

Could you imagine woke little NZ hanging drug traffickers? I bet that would stop people bitching about the gang patch ban... A week or so back Joe Rogan had a dude called Adam Heffer, or very close to that, on his podcast. Adam is an ex Special forces and another shadow like mob who are not good to mess with mob, who worked his way up to a trainer before he bailed. He's now fighting for Vet rights and trying not to godown the hole so many of the Vets have due to a lack of support.
Anyway on chatting the migrant cartels came up, the mobs doing the human trafficking across the boarder. Then the child porn cartels, which are the same and close to the previous ones. Then the drug cartels came up. The 2 lads were discussing unleashing the Special Forces/Seal teams/etc on to the cartels. The discussion was serious but with jest.
Last evening it was reported Trumps inner circle is looking at using Special Forces to clean out the cartels. The El Salvadoran president when he came in to power 1/3 of the country inc 1/2 the capital was firming in the control of the gangs and nasty fuckers gangs they were. So Pressie said to the police and army, I want the gangs gone, I don't care how. 6 months later the gangs are either inside a hell big SuperMax prison they built, I mean real prison not like NZ ones, or they are dead. Trump has expressed admiration for the presidents actions. El president has something like 85% approval rate with the public and was implored by the people to stand down 6 months before the last election so they could vote him back in again, which they did.
Imagine the puckering inside Gangs HQ if they heard Trump had told US Special Forces to go gettum. While extreme the gangs are aholes so deserve it.
No idea if Trump got the idea from the podcast or not but there is a little coincidental timing going on.

Haiti is serious struggling with gangs. To the point they are shooting at commercial aircraft trying to land at the capital, that may or may not be brining in private security forces to deal to them. Haiti is the definition of anarchy. It was bad before their big earthquake, but far far worse afterwards. Haiti is such a shit show that far more people died of cholera than the actual earthquake. I think it is so bad now, they'd need a rather large army to sort the gangs out. And it would be an extraordinary amount of bloodshed.

Just a farce!
The offender lives in our neighbourhood. We have had trouble with hoons over the years doing burnouts on our access road and GF remarked just the other day that there were new burnout marks on Mahurangi East Rd close to Ridge Rd intersection (and that won't be from the film crew currently working at Martin's Bay with Jason Momoa in the cast). Could be same guy and his mates.
