Aussies top cardio dude put me on to it.
It scans your heart and thru highlighting calcium deposits can pinpoint plaque in your heart arteries.
Then you know whats what and can deal with it before you have a heart attack.

No, but it's the equivalent of several hundred chest xrays and will increase the likelihood that you'll due from a tumour. Just how much of an increase has been heavily debated, but everyone knows that xray radiation should be avoided. Especially the specialists running the equipment... It's a bit of a damned if you do, and possibly damned if you don't kind of decision.
