20% Off everything at Burnsco this weekend, if you need dull and tedious things for your boat, like flares that are in-date, replacement lifejackets or plumbing fittings and hose clips for tedious boat jobs.
I have never been so excited to go to Burnsco and spend boat dollars I don't really want to spend but need to so I can complete tedious boat jobs.
PS, Am just going to phone to see if it covers paint and painting accessories. I see painting in my future...

20% off what?
Be careful they aren't doing a Briscos. Their hell special prices are often about the same as many other full retails. It's no wonder Rod bitches people won't shop there unless there is a special on.

Yeah, all their international paint (1 l for comparison) Smart Marine is $90 standard, Burnsco $100. Slightly cheaper with 20% off, but technically it is 10% off. On flares Smart marine is cheaper with their VIP card, Burnsco is cheaper on sale. Only issue is Smart marine closed their Northshore and Westhaven stores, so I need to spend 1/2 a lifetime in Auckland traffic to get to a store, which simply isn't worth it.

They joy of online shopping.I have a choice Burnsco or smartmarine. Just spent $110 at smartmarine being vip card thing, cheaper than burnsco with their sale prices. needed 2 stroke oil, turns out cheaper to by 3 x 1lt than 1 x 3.5 lt container. Not much between the 2 stores but enough to save $10 considering its 13kms away. Manukau Burnsco has very little range compared to smartmarine. Burnsco need to spend $500 to get a $10 voucher as smartmarine gives the 2 or3$ off straight away. Both stores 5 minutes from work when I remember.
Papakura needs a decent marine shop thats accessible with trailers. Can be upwards of 200 trailers heading Maraeti/clevedon/kawakawa bay and only shop at Clevedon is top catch and irregular hrs, parking is a hasle.

Popped into Woollies the other day and went for a something, Oh $6.80, that's a tad ouch...hang on 'members price' $4.20 WTF? It went back on the shelf and I brought the same thing at NW down the road at their everyday price of $4.39. What's more the 150 odd I was planning to spend at Woollies came with me to NW.
I do not even go in the door of some places purely because they have membership reward things.
I can't remember the last time I was in a BCo or Smart. Actually I dived into BCo Westhaven a day or 3 after it opened to grab a pump for the safety boat Lipton Cup day a year or 2 prior to covids. But the Club paid for it but then I do give credit to BCo for supporting the local yacht clubs with some pretty sharp pricing.

Just went and got a bunch of stuff I was going to have to get over the next few weeks or months or so anyway.
What is WAY cheaper is a new gas stove. I need one of them, so could save $420 if I pulled the trigger by the end of tomorrow. That is a saving over what all other retailers are offering. I just wasn't planning on doing that project will June at the earliest. grrr.

Yes they are very quick to support our youth and women’s sailing and generous with it too . having club members working there smooths the way somewhat as well .

Lets hope with the change of ownership that continues. Word is they did wade into some of the accounts and discounting with a big sword pretty fast.
