Back in reality, this maybe the big ejaculation they have been expecting for a few months now.
If a smaller one a month or so back took out a couple of satellites, older less reinforced ones, this may cause some carnage.

Where's some millennials, grab a beer and sit back to watch the utter horror their existence becomes when their controlling devices suddenly don't work.I wonder if any will be able to get thru a day?

When in Nicaragua I had limited cell service to due a big boys go anywhere plan but D1 had nothing due to huge bucks a second roaming costs. I was constantly amused watching her go for the cell only to remember it don't go. She survived OK though even is she did need medicating quite heavily with Margaritas.

I shall now prepare rural for a total comms and power outage. 10 seconds later, All done and ready for it now

Incident-free flight to NYC.
Landed JFK an hour ago.
And no sign of ATC dealing with any issues - arrived 1hr early and allowed to land without delay.
Dinner will be earlier than expected 😊
