I watched the documentary "Trust fall" on Julian Assange last night. Very sobering watch but glad I did. That man is a hero and deserves the worlds support.
The relentless hounding, character assasination and then imprisonment he has been subjected to all because he reported the truth, is hard to stomach. He knew they would come after him too but felt the world needed to know the dirty little secrets of the US war machine amongst others.
Currently playing at various small cinemas in NZ. I cannot recommend enough, that anyone who can, gets along to see it.

spies also reveal 'the truth'
he was naive to think he wouldn't be made an example of
but imho he's certainly 'served his time' and the harassment should stop

He said he expected to be hounded to the end of the earth and that they would make his life hell yet he did it anyway. He believed the world deserved to know what was going on. He has certainly opened a lot of eyes to the evil corruption of the elites war machine. I'm not sure what he has "served his time" for? His platform was used by someone to expose US state sponsored murder of civilians amongst other things. Is that something someone should serve time for?^
