so the Minister of Justice has finally signed extradition papers for KDC quoting the Ferald Justice Minister Paul Goldsmith has signed Kim Dotcom’s extradition order, meaning New Zealand will almost certainly deport him to the United States. German-born Dotcom moved to New Zealand in 2010. He has been facing potential extradition since 2012 when he was arrested as part of a global sting. The US Justice Department pressed charges against Dotcom, including criminal copyright infringement, money laundering, racketeering and wire fraud.
It will be interesting to see if this is the final chapter in a very drawn out soap opera with many unanswered questions as to why previous governments did not act. I have been told from someone on the inside that when he does get extradited he may also be presented with a large bill for all the court time spent on his appeals. However as one commenter notes KDC is like Winston, he not gone until he is gone!

The whole thing seems very political. Right from the very start, a massive helicopter raid was very OTT to catch a fat guy and his mates (he clearly can't run very far or fast). Very Merican from the outset.
It looks far more like a case of judicial harassment from a foreign power than any legitimate interest in copyright law.

According to dot.com,all they had to do was knock and he would of answered the door. But he didnt know what was happening so locked himself in the strong room. Whats the difference between setting up a loading plastform so we watch/download films etc and youtube where movies get uploaded and you can watch?
