Yes I am following the race, normally a son is the bowman on Black Jack, but missed it this year because of MIQ shambles.
Myself I have done it 5 times, 1971, 72, 73, 75 & 81.

Any scary moments, highlights?
Never interested in doing it. Done offshores all over the place, but the SH is such a weather dependent lottery for me.
I used to follow it when we had a kiwi boat or a mates boat in it. But it's become a big boat money/ tossers event for me.
And why not a multi hull class/div?
