On the one hand it would be good to see this sorted with the ruskies crippled but on the other hand no-one wants to look north and see the sky glowing crimson...
i think a good attempt at diplomacy and compromise needs to be made before we go down the path of escalation. we live in difficult times ...

singapore got most of it's water from malaysia so when the japanese turned off the water valves fortress singapore surrendered without a shot being fired

In what would be a reversal, the Biden administration is poised to approve sending M1 Abrams tanks to Ukraine, US officials said Tuesday (local time), as international reluctance to send tanks to the battlefront against the Russians begins to erode.

A decision to send a bit more than 30 tanks could be announced as soon as Wednesday, though it could take months for the tanks to be delivered.

the  abrams have gas turbine engines, like jets, and drink a ton of jet fuel even at idle

the yanks will be pissed if these, us$8 million each, tanks get busted open by russian artillery because they ran out of fuel or the crew couldn't fix them quick enough to keep them moving 

they'd be better to replace 1 for 1 leopard2s for abrams..........get all the diesel leopard2s in europe into ukraine, and shift nato to abrams

usa to send 31 abrams

so germany will now send 15 leopard2s and allow others to send leopard2s

norway and poland already on board

uk already sending some of their older challenger2s, now likely to send more

all these 100? tanks are superior to anything the russians have

but just as vulnerable to artillery + mines....however if well supported by well equipped infantry for a punch through the front, could easily cut russia's land corridor to crimea

hope this doesn't trigger belarus joining the war
