So we don't stand by and let the bimbo and her racist communist government roll us What are you suggesting? I can see increased scope for violent responses from sections of our community brewing. The Taxpayers Union letter certainly made an impact. My Father in law forwarded to the whole family last night. There I was quietly browsing NZ Sailing Forum and my missus suddenly starts going into one! Have you seen this? (yes dear), what are we going to do about it?!?!?!?! blah blah It is really firing people up. Even my father (who has been known to vote Te Pati Maori, back in the day when Peta Sharples was doing some good work) has his undies in a twist about Manahuri Vice doing fisheries patrols. I've never worked out who my father in-law votes for, I think he's a national man but could be Labour, but would spit on the grave of Judith Collins if he had the chance. But most people in this story are centrist voters that have all voted Labour recently. They aren't one to get that interested in politics, but damn they are fired up about this errosion of democracy. Labour might not have realised just how much passion and anger there is about these attacks on democracy. It is like they've lit a fuse, and soon there is going to be a very large bomb go off in our society.

There is hope. Political history tells us that right-wing parties always do the best and get most support & power when they have a clear ‘enemy’ or cause to fight. The fight against communism in the 80s was the last big cycle but as that collapsed the right lost its reasons to make average voters angry.
But now we are seeing the cycle swinging back in favour of the right-wing parties as populations wake up to the dangers of being woke.
One difference this time, whilst the right-wing are winning elections all over the place (look at Europe right now), the power is moving away from the bigger parties to the smaller ones -generally because they are even more right-wing / extreme.
This means you should expect alliances of 2-3 smaller right-wing parties forming coalitions against the traditional big left, as the new norm.

Here's how the NZ population rolls regarding this governments ,"changing of NZ society cluster Fuck"....
0-18* DGAF .. to busy rooting, drinking and burning rubber (both tyres, brain cells and condoms).
18-34 GAF for the price if fuel, booze, food, mortgages. ..
44- 65. majorly GAF as they are paying big taxes to support the other 3 age groups. And these people are pissed with it all.
65 - death DGAF. Either To tired and warn down by the crap or benefactors# of the crap! * Except skinny white girls with long wavey hair and have woke parents of which the male is a limp wristed poofter ( closeted) and the mother is over bearing vegan freebie that never achieved anything! and they both live vicariously thru thier thicko daughter. ... And the ram raiders love the current " get out of jail free card"
# all age group have benefactors....
DGAF - Don't Give A Fuck

Funny the 44 - 65 group or couples/married or not earning combined over $70k. Pay the majority of taxe, never get a break, daycare etc income to high, one looses job partners income to high.Yes the age group/income bracket are screwed.
Remember when number 1 born ,got 3k from govt.End of yr had to pay it back. Go to Aussie number 2 born get 3k + wife stay at home allowance as boys under 5 she got $275 pw which was our rent on a 3 bed/pol/air con unit. Entitled to it regardless of my income. I was taking home at the time $1700pw.overtime at time 1/2 +double time, working 70hrs
That was 2002/2004 never paid anything back,in fact first yr got close to 90% of taxes back.

According to the NZ Treasury this is who pays and how much. It is 2019 figures as when the current Govt came in they stopped many things including publishing numbers like this. The 'What the punters can see can't piss them off' theory.

I presume that takes into account part timers, dole bludgers, and superanuits? They would taint the lower incomes up to 40k pa.
