Weather is a fair bit colder this week than last. I understand FENZ are there with several firetrucks. First thing I was thinking was to give them a good soaking so their clothes are all wet, then take away the ladder so the little fuckers are stuck up there all night, freezing their entitled little balls off. But I understand FENZ aren't allowed to get involved unless it is putting out fires (or harassing legit protestors in Wellington). I'm sure there is some rule somewhere that says you can't soak little shits then lock them outside all night, but I would have thought it was a fairly low risk way of sorting out the situation. Either that, or just take your time negotiating with them. These guys might think they are tough. But, it is a cold night... PS, whats a bet they get in Uber eats with all the trimmings? Like next level KFC? Nothing would surprise me with this woke lot incharge. Next week the youth corrections facility will riot until they get their own Taylor Swift concert. I mean after all the Aussies are getting a couple, so why not riot until your youth correction facility gets a gig? |

When you've been locked up for being a major arsehole and feel like you need some Hot Wings just climb on the roof of the prison, that alerts authorities to organise a delivery for you.

Now no where it is, backs on to McLaughlins Mountain where we caused a minor armed defender squad call out about 4 yrs ago,were up there shooting hares with at the time owners permission, now part of DOC.Had no idea it was a prison  Thought it housed woman. |

Raethel has been covering overnight breaking news for Newshub for 17 years. He said he's never seen crime as bad as it is now.
For every crime, there's a victim. Shop owners, business owners, everyday good Kiwis. The toll is huge. It's mental, financial and physical. And it seems there's no sign of it slowing down.

Well that was stupid. how you going to re-impose order of you give them everything they want? Surely there are sanctions for rioting and sitting on roofs? The easiest sanction is to get cold and hungry. Give up, come down then you can warm up and eat something. Only after you comply. |

Short answer....nothing. And when my gun license was last renewed (what a saga, if they had done to the arsehole in Chch murders what they put me through he would never have got a license to buy the guns) The lady officer made great emphasis that it was illegal to have a gun for self defence. Of course thats not why I've had a gun all my life, but it has crossed my mind who is going to come to my aid in the event. 45 mins response time for a 111 call in town and an hour rural. It's likely that the bad guys see and hear all this and could be a direct reason for the crime wave? Oh no because I heard the deputy police commissioner assuring us all will be well....yeah right
