Chloe Swarbrick seems to be showing us she is not one of those cute cuddly Greens who can always find something good to say about everyone. Nope, she’s a whinging, nasty serial complainer, who thinks if she shrieks, scolds and stamps her foot then people will start listening to her

So, now we’ve heard the Greens’ response to the Government’s 36-point plan, calling it “PR spin” and “as pointless as it is hollow.”Government that’s untethered from reality, or perhaps the Greens themselves?
The Greens seem to be painting themselves as the champions of meaningful solutions, yet their critique lacks substance.
Swarbrick questions the vague nature of the plan, but isn’t her own criticism equally vague?
Instead of offering concrete alternatives, she chooses to throw stones from her glass house.
It’s easy to criticise but it’s much harder to propose real solutions.
And what about Swarbrick’s assertion that the plan is focused on “environmental destruction and trickle-down economics”?
That’s a bold claim, but where’s the evidence?
It’s easy to toss around buzzwords, and slogans but, without backing them up with facts, it’s just empty rhetoric. We saw all too well what happens when a foolish leader spouts only slogans as when Jacinda Ardern was Prime Minister.

When asked whether Genter was fit to be an MP, Swarbrick said: “Look again this is a one-off instance of unacceptable behaviour.”
But a Wellington florist says it’s not a one-off.
“This is how she conducts herself, she is a bully,” florist Laura Newcombe told Newshub.
Newcombe has had Four Seasons Florist for 30 years. Recently a cycleway’s been installed – removing car parks outside her shop.
“My income has been easily halved,” she said.
Last week, Genter stopped by and Newcombe said the pair got into a heated exchange about Genter’s advocacy for the cycleways.
“She was very intimidating. She pulled out her phone, she put the phone camera right in my face and I was like ‘Okay, you need to leave now’ and then she started yelling and screaming over me that I didn’t care about her kids cycling,” Newcombe said.
Newshub asked Green co-leader Marama Davidson about the florist’s encounter to which she replied: “I understand that Julie Anne did pull a phone out and video the florist – that is completely unacceptable.”

Simon Woolf, formerly a Wellington city councillor, now with the Greater Wellington Regional Council, alleged an incident in 2019 where he was photographing an event, in a personal business capacity, outside Parliament. Genter was attending as associate transport minister. Just a few months earlier Lets Get Wellington Moving had been launched, sparking heated debate about cycleways and mass rapid transit.
Woolf said Genter “came right up to my face and complained bitterly about the slow progress with the city council and the cycleway implementation. I had to tell her three times that I wasn’t there as a councillor, I had two cameras around my neck, and that I was there as a photographer”.

So we have allegations of:

1.Losing her cool in Parliament and storming across the House to shut at an MP opposite

2.Losing her cool at a small business owner in her electorate on the issue of cycleways, and filming her

3.Grabbing the arm of another small business owner who wanted to talK to her about the Golden Mile project

4.Haranguing a City Councillor who was attending an event in his capacity as a photographer

I don’t think it is unfair to conclude she seems to have anger issues.

as could reasonably be expected from their track-record of entitled behaviour

the greens don't really think there's an issue with genter's actions

they're all about supporting her and any punishment will be confidential

genter herself, can't really 'recall' the previous incidents, before the one caught on camera in parliament

other than to say that she was stressed, is passionate and will reflect on her actions

but they're pretty mealy-mouthed
