Yay I got my Pass and an International travel one also, by simply phoning MoH and it only took 10mins on hold.
Must say, easy to get, now to start travelling. First trip China, need to see what their restrictions are now...have APEC Card, may help?

Watch the fairy princess and her evil step sisters and brothers jump on this bandwagon. Most of our rights are being stripped away and we may be allowed to do this or that (like a holiday ) provided we conform .WWell thats not freedom....it's an open prison. Think about it people. I'm vaxxed but do the unvaxxed present any major problem ? Not really I may well be one of the % on whom the vax doesn't have any effect. But its a great fear factor for another divisor in NZ. Whats next ? The equivalent of wearing the yellow Star of David |

I wonder how they will police boating between regions,Auckland to BoI and Coromandel & Cook Strait And whats up with the 17th January date, does the border come back? Thats going to stuff Bay Week. I doubt a border will come back but why give an "until" date? No, from the presser, after the 17th Jan, its a free for all. She used the analogy of rules on drink driving, that there is an expectation people follow the rules. Max $1,000 buck fine, which I don't think is very much if you really want to go somewhere. Just booked flights for my Mum to come up and see the Grandkids the weekend before Christmas... Fuck, she says vaccinated a lot in those pressers. If you had to have a drink every time she said the V word, I wouldn't be able to get off the floor by now... |

Got "My Vaccine Pass" .....Valid from today until 17 May 2022. I got my second dose 27 May 2021 and I need my booster shot shortly so should it not say something about the 6 month efficiency of the Pfizer vaccine?  ? |

If a vaccine mandate loses you more staff than covid would have killed, has it really helped your business open up?
Is it really just taking the place of a rapid testing service?
When She announced the mandates originally, She said staff would have the option of regular testing, that seems to have been quietly dropped.

Hey GO30, I’m curious what your primary motivating factor is to avoid the general flow towards vaxxing (yourself, staff, customers etc)? Knowing you a bit, I suspect that it’s possibly a case of the more ‘they’ tell you you must do something the harder you’ll resist - whatever the issue. Is it that simple? If so, I get that to an extent. As a lifelong, mostly boringly compliant and law-abiding citizen who was brought up to respect the institutions of state, for decades my instinct has been to follow the rules, stay out of trouble and quietly get on with life. But the events of the last 18 months have certainly destabilised those many years of entrenched beliefs & behaviours - to the extent that I find myself looking for ways to ‘resist’ the system in a way that I would never have considered before. All of which has been driven by the nanny narrative of the last few months. Or is your resistance to the vax drive another more health-related stance (you don’t have to answer that of course if it’s getting too personal)?! 😊 Sorry I've never been busier with life.
Contrarian, sometimes but on this specific subject I am planing on being so to a small degree, but not in the manner you're thinking, purely to stand up for/beside those in society who are too scared to do it themselves. That's around the Vax certificates and mandates.
I have ZERO issues with anyone who wants to get Vaxxed. As a general rule I have no problem with many who are unvaxed but I have a few around some who are plainly dickheads.
What I despise, with some extreme passion, is how the PM is pushing vilification hatred fear and just arsehole like activity as 'kindness'. I despise, and also greatly pity, those who agree with her. I despise and pity even more those who just pile onto unvaxxed without taking the effort to know why they aren't.

I've been told to bring in No Job No Jab. I am not a doctor and will not be forcing medical procedures on anyone. I've been told not to let un-vaxxed in. I refuse to discriminate. Just re-reading this… is that for real? If so, on what basis? You supply chains, ropes & anchors not critical front line health or public services! Have you actually received some kind of legal order to introduce those rules? If so, by whom? I’d love to see it. 😳 Have you got something you can post up here? A bkit of a poorly worded 1st sentance by me, there is 2 things going on there.
One is no jab no job. Bing!! today the under strain understaffed health system lost over 500 valuable staff. So rather than have some help the Govt would prefer to have none at all.
As I am not a Doctor I am not going to mandate to grown adults they must take a new concoction of gowd knows what that's had little testing. Our Govt are a bunch of cowardly chicken shits who have demonstarted far too many times they have no problem throwing even their own people under the bus in an effort to protect Beloved Leaders image. You can bet you boat on the fact that if the vax pan out to be dodgy Beloved Leader and her minions will go after people to deflect away from Beloved Leaders failings. As I am a male, an employer, indigenous but still a pale skin and they have already assumed I'm not a Lab voter so people like me will be the scapegoats.
I get lots of comms from the Govt about how to pamper my staff and so on. In amongst that are continual references, many couched in a manner that could be seen as mandated, I persecute the unvaxxed on Beloved Leaders behalf. I am very VERY anti any discrimination bar the only mob who deserves to be given shit and abused, owners of big stinky fizz nasties who have no regard for fellow water users.
In reality whom the fuck knows whats going on. We have a board meeting (7 small business owners who meet each month and share problems and fixes) on Tuesday and of the 7 there we got 7 different idea pf what we are supposed to be doing now, tomorrow or next week.

The GCSB has a reliable source that said Covid is going home to Wuhan to see it's family for Xmas on Dec 14th, It was due back to work in NZ on New Years day but due to not being able to book a MIQ spot that's now been delayed until January 18th.
