I've always thought of a vagina as a bonus hole, but that is probably some sexist misyoginistic view of a past life, when I was young and single. Note that this story is based on a 'recommendation' from some charity. I think this nonsense is best ignored, so as to not give it oxygen.

I see it as more of an essential hole rather than a bonus hole but thats just me...

So you graduate with some fancy degree. You put on your CV your degree is from some place named "tribal nonsense" and all employers think you got it from the Westport Polytech. Now, I know I don't work in comms or anything, but if you want a University to be internationally recognised, wouldn't you need an internationally recognisable name?

You mean like MIT Manukau institute of technology The work generator is working overtime to find words for institute and technology. It found a word for "science".

Yes but as we’ve discussed before no amount of name changes will cover up the declining academic performance of NZ institutions. The sad reality is that if you only have NZ education on your CV then you won’t even get an interview in an international environment because an AI bot will filter it straight into the ‘reject’ pile during initial screening.

Interesting you mention AI,along with gpt chat. Heard a talk on the radio the other night about some professor who had doubt over his class ability. Entered their work in to GPT and it came back,I wrote that, now he thought not all the class would use GPT,so he entered his own thesis from 20 yrs ago.Surprise .GPT said I wrote that.

Well yes because GPT has basically read the entire internet (up to 2019 I think) and will therefore regurgitate anything it thinks is appropriate from all of that ‘knowledge’.
In other words it’s not that intelligent because it’s not creating net new stuff itself - it’s just generating stuff based on the best versions of human thinking that’s been captured on the internet.
The only ‘intelligence’ GPT has is its ability to work out what it should use from its extensive library as good material vs what is rubbish. But it sometimes still gets that wrong and the danger is that it presents the answer with complete confidence - so you might be fooled into believing it unless you happen to be an expert in that area and can spot its mistake.
The other big area where it’s flawed is cultural differences - in other words it will give the same answer to your question wherever you’ve asked it. Whereas as we all know, country and culture makes a big difference. Imagine asking GPT “What is a suitable punishment for theft?” Or “Is it morally right to have two wives?” Imagine how different the answer should be depending on whether you are sitting in NZ vs Saudi Arabia. But GPT will currently give the same answer.

"The rates increase would go towards areas including building Te Tiriti capability, two new Māori relationships staff, increased non-elected member payment to attract and retain hapū and iwi expertise"
Glad to know my money is being carefully spent on necessities.

The CFO said - that's good John, whatever you can't balance I'm happy to take out of your salary. Be nice to see some dipshit councilors operate with a similar mind.
