The majority disagree. My wife disagrees. My teenage daughter disagrees. My 24yr old daughter disagrees. GO30 are your daughters terrified? While they wouldn't use the emotive term terrified all do not want to go for a pee then suddenly be confronted with a penis in the same room. Concerned is the word they used.
They all agree with whotsherface, their right to have a penis free space has been taken from them to appease a small handful of selfish, greedy and violent people. They all said they are more concerned about their safety in some places after seeing that appalling display of violence against females and their right to speak openly without abuse, especially so considering the violence was encouraged by the Government.
It was a very interesting chat. There were 7 females present ranging in age from 18 to 85.

Interesting and good to hear another perspective.
I wonder what it is about your circle of women that has driven them to be afraid of a piece of anatomy?
My female family members literally couldn't care less if a male or trans was walking around naked in their changing room with a penis. Obviously so long as that person isn't doing anything to harm them, isn't staring at them or eying them up, or making remarks about their bodies, they couldn't care less. They believe they have a right to a safe place which isn't necessarily the same as a penis free space.
The concept of "penis-free spaces" is often raised in the context of concerns about sexual assault or harassment. While it is important to take steps to prevent sexual assault and harassment, it is also important to recognize that not all individuals who have penises are perpetrators of sexual violence, and that not all individuals who do not have penises are immune from perpetrating sexual violence.
Having a penis doesn't automatically make someone a rapist.

You really have to wonder at the motivation of some of these pro gender choice people.
A young girl should be able to get changed at the local swimming pool without fear of some bloke with a gender dysfunction disorder walking in and exposing himself.
I still can't believe this is even being considered. The world has gone mad thanks to too many woke radical extremists in positions of power.

"Having a penis doesn't automatically make someone a rapist."
It makes you a man no matter what you like to believe.

I am curious, Do you consider a person who was born a biological woman, that has undertaken phalloplasty surgery a man? Do you consider a person who was born a biological male, that has a penectomy a woman?

So is it the penis or is it the original gender that is the problem for you? What if the biological male had undertaken a penectomy? Would it then be OK for that person to "expose" themselves?

Are you trying to tell us something DM? Need to get something off your chest/breast? If so there are more appropriate forums to do that.

As a lady here just said after reading your responce 'hes another misogynistic male that does not understand'.

As a lady here just said after reading your responce 'hes another misogynistic male that does not understand'. She's obviously another transphobic woman who does not understand. Or did I just take her out of context as I have no doubt that she took my comments out of context? I am pro-trans rights AND pro-women rights. The question of whether biological women have the right to trans-free spaces is a complex and controversial issue that has been debated in various contexts. While everyone has the right to safe and inclusive spaces, it is important to balance this with respect for the rights of others, including trans individuals. Trans individuals are often marginalized and face discrimination and violence, and it is important to create spaces that are welcoming and respectful of their identities. It is important to recognize that not all women may feel comfortable sharing spaces with trans individuals, and that some may prefer gender-segregated spaces. However, it is also important to recognize that trans individuals have the right to access public spaces and services, and that excluding them from certain spaces can be discriminatory and harmful. Ultimately, the question of whether to create trans-free spaces should be approached with sensitivity and a commitment to inclusivity and respect for all individuals. It is important to engage in open and respectful dialogue, and to seek to find solutions that accommodate the needs and preferences of all individuals, while also promoting equality and respect for all.

Never read anything Rachel Smalley has written before, but this might be the best thing I've read yet. www.todayfm.co.nz/home/opinion/2023/03/rachel-smalley-how-on-earth-did-the-greens-become-so-antiwomen.htmlThe Greens won't accept that you can be pro-trans rights AND pro-women rights. You don’t have to pick a side, but the Greens did. And they opposed women’s rights. In 2023, they opposed women’s rights.
And for me... well, the hypocrisy is breathtaking.
Earlier this year, I interviewed Greens MP Golriz Ghahraman on the issue unfolding in Iran. She said New Zealand must stand up, and stop the misogyny and the hate and the violence that was raining down on the women of Iran. And then on Saturday, I watched her dog-whistle misogyny and violent behaviour against the women of New Zealand. In the moments before the protest, she posted a picture of herself smiling on Twitter holding a sign where she labelled women’s rights campaigners as Terfs and she wrote “Ready to the fight the Nazis!”
