What would be the cost of annual lease for a 12m berth at Westhaven?

Was looking at a boat in Westhaven. The owner was including the marina in the asking price with an expiry date of September 2026. Was wondering what the value of the marina is, as I would have no need for it and was wondering how much to trim off the asking price of the boat.

Give the folk at www.marinaberths.com/westhaven a call? 0274759092 The one time I talked to them they seemed very helpful.

Well at $1000/month, less OPEX ~$4K PA, you are looking at an undiscounted value of approx $24k. Discounting or cost of money will reduce this.

Was looking at a boat in Westhaven. Which raises the very important question that should have been asked well before now... What are you looking at??

Looking at a Mk1 Corsair. He has big $ on it for a Mk1. Values the marina for 3 years at only $10k, so if I don't want the marina only 10k difference.

No, repowered with 320hp cummins with 1900 hrs on rebuild. Still a little overpriced though.

Yes, but have walked away. Have an issue with this particular corsair raised by a mate of mine who had a corsair for several years. I am not rubbishing the boat, as it is a very nice example and I am sure whoever buys it will love it, but it's just not for me. Maybe a bit overpriced and more than I would pay for a Mk1.

I owned a MK2 for 5 or so years, sold 2.5 years ago.
