years ago i raised a mob of piglets - they were quite likeable in many ways and had individual personalities too ( mates girlfriend fed them up on feijoa wine once - god they were funny ) but one thing they all did was at feeding time they all lowered their snouts right into the trough up to their eyelashes... I don't know why CZ's link reminded me about them

^ wow! he tears them a new one
remember he was a labour cabinet minister!
The taxpayer-funded Public Interest Journalism Fund, no matter what editorial rooms might claim, has thrown a wet blanket over public debate. Te Tiriti rules public discourse, not the simple three-clause Treaty of Waitangi that was celebrated in 1990, its 150th year, but the bullswool version made up by a few academics, Maori radicals, Labour and the Greens. Those who want to question extraordinary Maori assertions and claims are banned from the pages of the New Zealand Herald.
We are experiencing the worst government of my lifetime, one that has caused more damage and divisiveness in our society, than there has been at any time since the Great Depression.

no matter that many of their supporters want to legalise drugs no matter that no one else in the world has made this work... ..even north korea, china, russia, where it is seen as an essential tool for soothing the massesno matter that it will hurt the people they are trying to protect the most no matter that it could lead to a crime-wave of ram raids as people build up stocks no matter that all those who currently self-medicate will be denied 1 of their most effective tools labour are pressing ahead with a plan that theoretically will eventually be worth the pain would could possibly go wrong? New Zealand's plan to be smokefree by 2025 takes another tangible step forward.
The Smokefree Environments and Regulated Products (Smoked Tobacco) Amendment Bill will now go to the Health Select Committee for submissions and review, and (presumably) return to the House in late 2022 to be passed into law. www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zealand/2022/07/analysis-new-tobacco-endgame-law-will-be-world-first-for-health-modelling-shows-large-reductions-in-mortality-rates.htmlseems there are no editors at newshub, or none that can do the job... 5 inches of the adult population probably means 5% ( In the brain, nicotine increases the release of brain chemicals called neurotransmitters, which help regulate mood and behavior. Dopamine, one of these neurotransmitters, is released in the reward center of the brain and causes feelings of pleasure and improved mood.?) seeing as this gov. doesn't really seem to believe in any form of self-improvement or personal responsibility the numbers of beatings and murders are likely to rise when those with poor mood regulation have 1 of their props removed

very true
Funny how the All Blacks have had a mere two losses out of three matches this season, and suddenly a large proportion of the media and the public are baying for change, with calls for sack the coach, replace the captain... because the performance is not up to the expectations of New Zealanders... Yet we have a government who have had almost five years of continuous failures, blatantly missed opportunities, financial ruin, piss poor leadership, incessant lies, crazy flawed planning, failure to achieve goals, broken promises, social engineering, extremist idealism, separatism, theft of assets and more.... and yet still a huge number of New Zealanders continue to turn a blind eye to it all or do not seem to realise it is happening. Rugby is just a game.... the government affects the lives and future of all New Zealanders. Start calling for change of government with the same fervour you seek better representation in rugby!"

Unfortunately NZR can’t sack the Govt and bring in a new forwards coach next week wouldn't the capability to have a recall election be great If there was a snap election next week. I would say Labour would get back as the opposition have offered/said nothing to convince me they are the ones to pull us back up on the world stage.

Who in their right mind would want to run the joint ? Luxton is probably shitting himself after seeing what happens when the shit really hits the fan on multiple fronts at once . No matter what you do you will get death threats , your family will have to have security detail , the pay is about 1/15th of a corporate CEO role and you can forget leave and performance bonuses . Even after you leave the job there will be people that hate you ….heck I still intensely dislike Muldoon for wrecking my grandfathers boat building business and all the others
