Phish
(edit: well fuk me with a shovel and call me doug. )
Yeap the pictures trick caught me a few times as well. The site works well but it sure has a few quirks.
So looks like you have been busy, those 'little' tasks tend to suck up way more time than 1st expected.
Interesting to see the retaining bolts on the pulpit looking so fuckarooted. I wonder how many other boats are sailing around thinking all is good but have the same state bolts. Smart tidy fix with the wedges as well, most just plop down a dollop of bog.
I must say I like your office. The back drop looks far more relaxing and nice to be in than slabs of concrete, even if the concrete dose make working on her a little easier.
Right better shift the cows, the weather is about to go evil again.

todays effort....
and from the inside... just ignore the clamps, they were just for setup.
my next issue is where to mount the transducer... FB group seems to suggest inside in a glob of silicon (No Airbubbles!) would be ok. Does sonar and all the fancy side looking stuff work ok doing that? has annyone done a recent install this way??
or would under here be better? i think it would be too close to the outboard...

If you just want depth you can put it inside the hull and make some sort of a bath for it, oil has been used (like light oil), or a big pile of goup, but not soft goup that absorbs the signal. If you want it for fishing and all the fancy features, put it in the water. Away from the prop, they cause big interference - bubbles I think. I can't see why you wouldn't just put it on the transom. That is what it is designed for. It isn't a through hull transducer that you would permanently mount in a through hull.
