That was a massive brain fart on her behalf but then she knows many who will support her are that fucking stupid they will lap it up and a quick suss around shows they are. I'm beginning to suspect Ginny is a nick name not a given name. Ginny being someone who has issues around excessive Gin consumption,I know this as it appears I have created a couple of them over last few months That could cause brain farts.

David Shearer says Ginny Andersen’s claims about Mark Mitchell ‘divorced from reality’he may as well be speaking of the current crop of 'jacinda's children' A former Labour leader believes Labour MP Ginny Andersen’s claims about Mark Mitchell’s past as a private security contractor are “divorced from reality” and encouraged her to speak with the Police Minister to better understand the nature of the work.David Shearer, a former Labour MP and Opposition leader, recently concluded heading the United Nations mission in South Sudan amid working for about 20 years co-ordinating aid in a host of countries including Rwanda, Somalia, Iraq, and Sierra Leone. It was during that work he interacted with many companies akin to Mitchell’s and said Andersen’s recent claim that the current Police Minister was “paid to kill people” is not a fair description of the work those companies do.“When you’re on the ground, you actually have to have security otherwise you can’t work on the ground, it’s as simple as that.”“Without understanding the reality, I suggest that you can’t really make those sorts of comments because you really don’t know and I think Ginny doesn’t really know and it’s probably better to stop digging and to understand what the reality is.“It might look like something from a distance but believe me, when you’re in the operation and you’re in Iraq and you’re in Somalia and you want to save lives and you want to move goods from place to place, you’re going to have to have security.”Andersen declined a request to be interviewed.www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/politics/former-labour-leader-david-shearer-says-ginny-andersens-claims-about-mark-mitchell-divorced-from-reality/B6DPEPL555F6LDIXJGTZXJRG7Y/labour's police + justice ministers seem to be a never-ending stream of realities deniers and therefore car-crashesthey don't seem mind if we are murdered, raped, stolen from as long as they get to keep parroting their failed kumbaya dogma wokism seems just as divorced from reality
therefore, long-term just as morally corrupting and financially bankrupting
as communism

Watched the Sunday programme and Mark Mitchell has no idea, couldnt even answer a simple question."Do think alone policeman can remove a gang members patch" he went around in circles about 500 new cops. Was how confident he was of getting new recruits.Side stepped that question. Carry on as you were Labour going to be no change here. As a gang member said"pull all our gangs together, mob,bp,kbees etc totally out number cops if they want a war.
Maybe the answer is simple,D8 bullies?flatten known gang pads, gang houses etc
Mitchell has based everything on Western Australia.Where have the WA gangs too??other states
Need to build a police force first before talking big or start deploying army to do their work.

Are you suggesting you'd prefer this Government to just say 'Fuck NZ's laws and processes, I'm going to make a Captains Call and you'll fucken like it or I'll brand you a misogynistic right wing terrorist extremist' just like the last Government like to do far too often?

You seriously think alone officer will remove a gang members jacket or say you cant be congregating for 3 yrs? The bloody legistation hasnt even been written or passed yet. Even the police association say its not going to work.
For it to work you need a special forces squad like armed defenders and given full power and backing on how they remove property/search etc and tell the bloody courts if the police forget to . a I or cross T turn a blind eye and carry out sentences as prescribed .
As you know perfectly well the human rights brigade will say no no no they are people and need to be treated with respect.
Its not going to work or happen. Our police force are joke when it comes to age ,size, and seriously you going to take notice of a copper riding a bike wearing a turban?? Yes there are several working south Ak.
Until we get Aussie size cops wearing side arms they will always be a joke .

nash goes a up a notch in my esteem
The former minister turned private sector commercial director said the Labour government "could have been tougher on crime".
"There's a whole lot of reasons why we lost the election, but certainly crime came to dominate in our second term of government in a way it hadn't in the first term, and I think it took us too long to get on top of it.
"I don't think as a Cabinet we understood the impact this was having on certain sectors of society ... it was well beyond a beltway issue," Nash said.
Former Police Minister Stuart Nash wants laws targeting gang assets to go further - after, he says, he was blocked by his former Cabinet colleagues from doing so.
In March last year the Labour government passed legislation putting the onus on associates of organised criminal groups to prove to a court they had funded their assets legitimately or face having them frozen.
The changes to the Criminal Proceeds (Recovery) Act allowed police to go after gang leaders' properties, cars, bikes and bling, providing the assets were valued at $30,000 or above.
The justice minister at the time, Kiri Allan, said that lower limit had been based on advice it would make it compliant with the Bill of Rights Act.
On Friday, six of the Comanchero motorcycle gang's distinctive gold-plated Harley Davidsons were turned into scrap metal following a first-of-its-kind court order to destroy seized property.
Speaking to RNZ on Monday, Nash said seizing and crushing the motorcycles was "fantastic" but he wanted to see all assets being taken away from gangs.
"I've always argued as minister of police, and will continue to argue, that there should be no lower limit. There's a limit against that at the moment and I argued against that at the time and didn't win," he said.
"If police have probable cause and know someone's a gang member they should be able to go after them with the full force of the law knowing that Parliament, politicians and the community has their back."
Nash said he went "toe-to-toe" with Allan when Cabinet debated how far the changes should go at the start of last year, but lost when then-Prime Minister Chris Hipkins sided with his Justice Minister.
"She believed it was anti-Māori and I thought that was absolute rubbish, because this was not targeting Māori in any way, it was targeting gangs.
"It doesn't matter what ethnicity a gang member is, they need to be held to account by society," Nash said.

Just talking to a mate who is going out with a police lassy, apparently they're getting stuck into the gangs every 2nd day down her way.
She's loving it.
Jacinda's be kind bullshit of the last 6 years must have driven lots of them bonkers.
Also listened to Mark Mitchell on ze platform, they're going to confiscate their gang jackets if they wear them in public.
I was highly dubious of the idea of banning patches, but that seems like a great example of Keep It Simple Stupid.

Until we get Aussie size cops wearing side arms they will always be a joke . So again you're assuming how it will work when the law has yet to be written. It may say 'single officers will refrain from interacting with gang members until the AOS, SAS and snipers arrive'. Lets wait and see what the plods are actually given to use before bitching it won't work.
Been chatting a a pair of mates in WA. They just do not see gang patches nor gangs. If any gang/patch turns up the plods quickly arrive on mass and squish them. The gangs learnt.
Our cops can and do carry guns when required. When not they have them in their cars close by. Glocks, which are blaaa and not nice to use but compact and very light (they are plastic) so easy to carry. I'd have a 9mm Springfield 1911 instead. Better range, accuracy, safety and you look a lot more like Harry Callahan not Lt. Lenina Huxley........ even though Lenina wins the shaggable stakes by every nautical mile

i don't expect a lone cop in opotoki to try and epatch a gang member at the local pub
i do now expect mob tangi's in the middle of major cities to be attended by well-behaved mobsters obeying the traffic laws on legit bikes as there should be a massed police presence ready to pounce on patched idiots doing burnsouts in the middle of intersections on stolen or illegal bikes that were bought with money gotten from destroying maori families by selling them drugs
