Well fancy that.
Gezzz just what does Team Handbag need to do to win much more than a 'Shit but not as shit as most others' finish.
I liked the comment from Ben about possibly taking the cup back to where it all started. Back there in J Class or something with a grandeur and class fitting the history of the Cup, if they are quick enough to save it from going fully Hello Kitty meets K Pop that is. In the off the beach give it some money earner stakes and for those who like things moving fast but aren't that concerned about race quality Sail GP is easily the better of the 2, so the AC is left hanging on the hope media pump it up enough for people to get interested. The back shots in the vid from Barcelona don't show crowds seen in the backshots of the SailGP. I think if Radcliff wins there is a chance we may see that, if Emerites win they have shown us their plan,'show me the money Mr Arab man'.
No matter what happens they need to bring back some mongrel. This event has seen as much off the water biffo, intrigue, skulduggery as 2 Nuns making scones.

Spitball has retired from 'merica's cup racing.
After getting whomped in the LV cup his final parting comment - Imagine if these guys (ineos) lost from here. What an upset that would be.
He's such a sore loser.

If you look at his CV I don't think he is too much of a loser. Looks like he's wound you up though muzled.

He is however a sore loser, and he's going out on a sour note imo. Wouldn't say he's wound me up, I love nothing more than seeing the west islanders lose.

Do we look faster or did we just pick the shifts on a fickle race course a bit better?

Do we look faster or did we just pick the shifts on a fickle race course a bit better? We look to be faster. Particularly upwind, clear advantage there. Possibly a tad slower downwind. Was a shifty as day, but we appear to have a design / speed edge. Team Fracking looked better against the Pizzas in windier stuff, so the weather may become critical for them to get around us, assuming we are better in the light but no so much in the heavy - that is based on the size of our foils and in particular our rudder. The rudder chord in the water is feckin tiny, was a point for comments today. My understanding is the Pizzas were optimized more for the lighter stuff, hence they lost the rudder / had the odd skid when in got up. I nearly had a heart attack in that second race, there were actual lead changes and stuff... not used to that carry-on in the America's Cup challenger series. Very exciting racing.

Young Dillon Fletcher got schooled a lesson. Not keeping clear, not turning down fast enough.
