34kg of explosives per resident, dropped on Gaza, or something like that, pretty sure I reposted that somewhere. I have no support for either side of this war. Supporting either side is morally wrong, supporting others who support either side is also wrong. More killing does not lead to less killing in any good way. Supporting those trying to create dialogue is the correct action This.

Peter Thiel is a curious character, not in the same mould as most of the tech billionaires, as this article discusses this paragraph is notable Meanwhile, vilifying Thiel provides a sort of cover for the rest of the tech industry. One implication of the Girardian theory of mimesis is that those who are scapegoated represent the broader collective’s vulnerabilities and transgressions. Most prominent Silicon Valley executives have historically identified as liberal, but one might ask whether their companies and products have actually advanced progressive values or causes; today, privately owned platforms touted as democratizing are arguably among the most centralized and anti-democratic. Inasmuch as Thiel’s approach to technology acknowledges Silicon Valley’s roots in the military-industrial complex, he may be the tech industry’s most honest representative. It is often remarked that he is a villain out of central casting.
I certainly believe it was wrong the way he was granted NZ citizenship, John Key has alot to answer for on that.
I remain rather more concerned about the likes of Bill Gates pedalling his influence around the world and basically exercising control over WHO. Thiel (and Musk) donating to Trump's campaign fund is "bad" but it is OK for Gates to donate $50M (and Michael Bloomberg even more) to Kommie LaLa's? Gates seems to use his BandMG Foundation as some sort of money laundering operation to buy influence, look at the $20M given to "she who will not be mentioned" to splash around. Did you know Kommie LaLa spent over $1B on her campaign, in fact ~$18M more than was funded, not a good look when you are trying project yourself as an economic manager.
ps, fascinating reading about the people most we have never heard of making donations of quite eye watering sums to candidates on both sides. Contrary to most peoples expectations Musk was not the biggest donor.

Chatting to rural locals on Saturday and the consensus was both sides are simply murders who will not rest until the other side ceases to exist. It has blown right thru what is right or wrong and why to a stage that is effectively who can commit genocide the soonest.
But Hamas management got a thumbs up for walking their own talk and doing their own bidding, not just sending other peoples kids off to be murdered or murder more innocent children.
Also the IDF will now step up the mass targetting and mass murdering of innocents to fully blown genocide on the back of the US election.
What a wonderful bunch of pantystains the lot of them are.

In a big U-turn from the covid mandates, I see in Amsterdam they have banned wearing masks in public. They have also banned any form of peaceful protesting. Now they are beating and arresting anyone for protesting the protest ban. Why? Some Israeli club football team came and played Ajax and lost badly (5 nil). It is a bit hard to tell what happened next, but either the Israeli football hooligans kicked off and trashed the place, or the local football hooligans kicked off and kicked the Israeli football hooligans. Anyway, Bibi is sending military transport planes to 'rescue' his hooligans. Not sure why, as there are loads of commercial flights and I'm assuming the Israeli hooligans had return tickets in the first place. Apparently the Amsterdam Mayor is scared shitless of not 'addressing' anti-semitism so has cracked down on everyone's human rights. How ironic. Sounds like a handy diversion from the genocide and ethnic cleansing back home anyway. Probably another Mossad operation. Diversion of the world's attention is important y'know. www.aljazeera.com/gallery/2024/11/11/pro-palestinian-protesters-detained-after-defying-amsterdam-ban

The Dutch capital of Amsterdam is under strict security measures after clashes erupted this week between pro-Palestine supporters and fans of an Israeli football club before a UEFA Europa League match. Tensions first escalated when Israeli football fans reportedly took down a Palestinian flag and chanted anti-Arab slogans – like “F*** you Palestine” and “No children left in Gaza”, according to videos verified by Reuters and eyewitnesses Al Jazeera spoke to on the ground – before their club’s match with a Dutch team. Here’s what we know about the clashes, and the lead-up to the violence. What happened in Amsterdam, and when? Tensions in the city started building on Wednesday when supporters of the Israeli football club Maccabi Tel Aviv arrived in Amsterdam. Their match against Ajax, a Dutch football club, was scheduled for the next day.
Later on Wednesday, Maccabi fans burned a Palestinian flag in the central Dam Square and vandalised a taxi, Amsterdam’s Police Chief Peter Holla told a news conference on Friday.
A video verified by Reuters showed Maccabi fans setting off flares and chanting, “Ole, ole, let the [Israeli army] win, and F*** the Arabs”.
Israeli fans also attacked houses displaying Palestinian flags, Jazie Veldhuyzen, a member of the Amsterdam City Council, told Al Jazeera.
On Thursday evening, Maccabi Tel Aviv supporters were chanting anti-Arab slogans as they marched towards the football stadium, video footage showed.
Police escorted the fans to the match, and local authorities banned pro-Palestinian demonstrators from gathering outside the stadium.
A pro-Palestinian march had been organised nearby at Anton de Komplein Square.Ajax won the UEFA Europa League match against Maccabi 5-0. The game proceeded smoothly.
Following the match, groups on scooters targeted the Maccabi supporters as they made their way to the city centre.
Riot police intervened. Some fans were escorted to their hotels by bus with police escorts. An additional 600 police officers were deployed.
The Israeli fans instigated the violence after arriving in the city and attacking Palestinian supporters before the match, an Amsterdam city council member said. “They began attacking houses of people in Amsterdam with Palestinian flags, so that’s actually where the violence started,” Councilman Jazie Veldhuyzen told Al Jazeera on Friday. “As a reaction, Amsterdammers mobilised themselves and countered the attacks that started on Wednesday by the Maccabi hooligans.”
Israeli “hooligans” chanted songs swearing at Arabs, saying, “There are no schools in Gaza because there are no children left.’” Israeli political commentator Ori Goldberg told Al Jazeera the incident showed that the Israeli narrative had taken over Europe. “The fact that Israeli fans riot in the middle of Amsterdam, sing racist songs and climb the walls of homes to tear down Palestinian flags … is part of the Israeli condition at the moment: A complete detachment between actions and consequences,” he said. www.aljazeera.com/news/2024/11/10/israeli-football-fans-pro-palestinians-attacked-in-amsterdam-what-we-know

Watched a documentary last wek on Hitler,His last words were. " I am like Bonaparte,a man ahead of his time. One day the world will see I was right"
Not that I agree with what he did with Jews. But one think of what they suffered would be enough not to enter the destruction of Palestine. The conflict has been going for yrs.
Russia/Ukraine. North Korea going to supply troops to Russia, one would suspewct South Korea to help Ukraine so North/South Korea conflict can continue. Technically they are still at war.

So they don't want peace, or their hostages back. They just want land. Lots of Land.
Far-right Israeli minister orders preparations for West Bank annexation Israel’s Finance Minister Smotrich hopes US President-elect Trump will support plan to annex occupied West Bank in 2025. Israel’s far-right Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich has ordered preparations for the annexation of the occupied West Bank ahead of US President-elect Donald Trump taking office in January 2025.
In a statement on Monday, Smotrich voiced his hope that the new administration in Washington will recognise Israel’s push for “sovereignty” over the occupied territory. In addition to his finance portfolio, Smotrich – who himself lives in an illegal Israeli settlement – also holds a position within Israel’s Defence Ministry where he oversees the administration of the occupied West Bank and its settlements.
“2025: the year of sovereignty in Judea and Samaria,” Smotrich wrote on X, using the biblical name by which Israel refers to the occupied West Bank.
At a meeting of his far-right faction in the Israeli parliament or Knesset on Monday, Smotrich welcomed Trump’s US presidential election victory over Kamala Harris and said he had instructed the Defence Ministry’s Settlement Directorate and Civil Administration to lay the groundwork for annexation.

Speaking of WW3, the next little incremental step closer has just been made: President Joe Biden has authorised Ukraine to use powerful long-range American weapons inside Russia, according to a senior US official familiar with the decision, as North Korean troops deploy in support of Moscow's effort. The decision comes as Russia has deployed nearly 50,000 troops to Kursk, the southern Russian region where Kyiv launched its surprise counteroffensive in the summer, to prepare to take back territory. Thousands of North Korean troops have deployed to Kursk as part of the offensive, sparking concern from Biden and his advisers that their entry could lead to a dangerous new phase in the war. The decision to allow use of the Army Tactical Missile Systems, or ATACMS, inside Russia had been under consideration for months. American officials had been divided on the wisdom of allowing the new capability. Some had concerns about escalating the war, while others worried about dwindling stockpiles of the weapons. www.rnz.co.nz/news/world/534071/joe-biden-authorises-ukraine-to-use-long-range-us-weapons-in-russia

I think Biden is really going to have a concerted go at cutting Trump's lunch. So much for a 'caretaker govt'. Very strange they take near 3 months to hand over power after the election. Not sure is any other countries do that at all?
