Everyone leaving would have voted against her, the more gone the better for Jacinda, helps solve the housing crisis too.
If it fuck the country by loosing the best motivated and brightest, that doesn't really matter, she's was going to achieve that anyway.

Does she want to get rid of all the promising bight young thins in NZ? she has not negotiated anything for Kiwi's in Aus, just claiming credit for Kiwi's being eligible for flood relief which was part of the Morrison government's assistance package thebfd.co.nz/2022/07/07/she-said-shed-never-tell-a-lie-then-she-told-a-whopper/

The expected departure from NZ in one way tickets is going to exceed 100000 not enough flights,50000 are aussie/uk bound. The thought is they returned home to escape the covid threat now feel safe to return to their 2nd homes Number 1 son has pre booked for a February departure, should have his Masters in electrical engineering by then. Starting Salary for the first yr of his journey has been told he can get over $120k western aussie. Way over my head what he actually does or study on,currently building a robot/camera that measures kiwi fruit vines and shows the canopy for photosynthesis and what buddies to remove for better crops.

In a past life I was the factory manager at a MAF audited and certified export meat processing plant. After a wee tour of South America, I brought back into NZ a cow's hoof tea cup from Argentina. I used it to keep my pens in on my desk at work, where I would hold meetings with the MAF vets/auditors. None of the MAF officials ever questioned the heritage of my cow's hoof cup... But bearing in mind my first boss had a wide range of captive bolt guns mounted on the walls around the office, I think I was a lightweight in the eyes of the MAF auditors. My plant did hold the all time NZ record for the longest period of time without an audit non-compliance, so I can't have been doing too much to upset them. So yeah, our well funded and effective border protection...

I received a one line message a few weeks ago from one of my main contacts in Australia simply asking "are you busy?". Australia is desperately short of workers at all levels, as is Canada according to a mate from Vancouver and most likely USA, especially with the stories from there about people being shocked truckies are getting paid US$100k plus

The bimbo's plan is to have all productive people out asap. Then the only people left will be the elderly and welfare dependents. Most of those will be easy to control . Except those of us on here ?

Leave while you still can afford to. ...i am! Where are you going mate ? Aussie, Brisbane to be exact. Cheaper houses, better wage by 57% ( if I take up the offer), Warmer, or Europe as a back up. Just got to sell the house (under offer), car .... Had enough! Can't see it getting better in my lifetime!

Treasury warned that interest rates are likely to rise even higher if the Government increases spending beyond what it outlined in the Budget earlier this year.A paper from Treasury to Parliament's Finance and Expenditure Committee on the subject of inflation said that if the Government's fiscal policy, meaning its settings around taxation and spending, "was to remain more expansionary than envisioned in the preliminary BEFU forecasts, interest rates would rise further than currently forecast".Essentially, this means if the Government decided to spend more in the next few years than it forecast at the most recent Budget, it would trigger inflationary pressure that would require the Reserve Bank to hike interest rates higher than planned.www.nzherald.co.nz/business/treasury-paper-warns-more-government-spending-will-hike-interest-rates/XPV5RUKLX4F2TWWG42JQFE7ZZ4/
