The challenge is that the even if you indulge yourself in a little game of gazing at a world map and dreaming “where in the world should I move to?” it’s hard to find a decent place that isn’t suffering similar prospects.

I wonder how many billion the new maori health authority will burn through in 13 years duplicating the work of the existing new zealand health authorities

Norway or the UAE ? Too cold and too bloody hot . but you are right , things are very shakey everywhere

If you’re going to live in a basket-case then might as well choose one with nice food & weather. Which means Med coastline countries for me.

What countries up there have mild winters ? SW Spain and Portugal the obvious choices. I here Montenegro nice too and surprisingly boating-friendly but not checked the climate.

This site has alot of interesting commentary on various countries to relocate nomadcapitalist.com/Europe is a bit cold in the winter, unless you are a skier. Another option would be a summer residence somewhere in Europe and sit on the beach in Bahia, Brazil for the Northern hemisphere winter. Kiwi's don't need a tourist visa for Brazil, you can have 180 days a year there in total as long as you rotate out after 90 days - fly down to Buenos Aires for a weekend, a good steak and watch a tango show

Almost all of Labour’s policies are making inflation worse Labour would have you believe our high inflation is all due to international factors. But the reality is that Labour’s own policies are contributing to inflation and tighter household incomes. Have a look at the PM’s speech in January.
New requirements for rental properties pushes up rents and hence inflation The car feebate scheme pushes up the costs of most cars and hence inflation The ban on gas exploration has pushed up electricity costs (we now have to import coal more) and hence inflation The immigration restrictions pushes up costs for employers unable to recruit and hence inflation The Fair Pay Agreements will push up staff costs for entire industries and hence inflation The unemployment insurance scheme will see after tax wages drop by up to $1,800 a year
And that is before one even looks into the macro impact of borrowing and printing billions of dollars to fund their overall spending.
