Did anyone see the cruise ship disasters on TV Monday night?? A super type yacht going from England to spain? surrounded by a pod of 40 orcas ,all wanted to try their luck on the rudder

Review of the recreational daily bag limit for kina in FMA 1 Tēnā koe Following consultation, the Minister for Oceans and Fisheries has made the decision to increase the recreational daily limit for kina from 50 to 150 per fisher in Fisheries Management Area (FMA) 1. This increase will come into force on 1 August 2024. The Minister’s decision letter, the final advice document, and summary for this review are available on our consultation web page at: www.mpi.govt.nz/consultations/review-of-the-recreational-daily-kina-limit-in-fishery-management-area-1-the-east-coast-of-the-upper-north-island Additionally, the Minister for Oceans and Fisheries has approved the proposal to introduce a new special permit purpose to allow persons or organisations to take and dispose, cull, or translocate sea urchins for the purpose of habitat restoration and/or prevention of urchin barrens.
