remember the last census was an absolute balls-up to the point they basically had to dump all the data?
www.stuff.co.nz/national/107763519/2018-census--what-happened
last week we received our 2023 census form "to the household of xxx street, aa suburb etc" , entered our unique private access 12 digit alpha-numeric code and have largely completed it online
today another form arrived addressed exactly the same....but with a different unique code for the same address?
sure enough they are now admitting that a "small number" of households seem to have received dual sets of forms....
"1.4 million households that have received their census letters so far, fewer than 2300 have received two letters with codes allowing them to do the online survey.
Of these 2300 reprinted letters, a “small amount” of them would have different access codes for each letter. Either one of these codes could be used to complete the census.
The spokesperson said this was due to a programming error that meant 95% of addresses with an apostrophe would not receive their letters. Because of this, 2300 letters were reprinted and resent.

are we 1 of the few hundred?
or, as there is no apostrophe in our address, is the problem is bigger than they think
thought to pass the info on to census 0800# but of course after 5min waiting it's easier to move on with your life
