PS, is Chris Hipkins really the only competent Minister Labour has? Judging by this re-shuffle, it certainly looks like that is what Adhern just said. no! He too is incompetent but just Less than the other useless idiots. This is a big admission that Ardern choose poorly, and now sees the people " rejecting the premise of her and her fuckwits" and now panicking to get the 465000 voters that have gone to national in the last 3 months, back. Total incompetence

Total incompetence Stalinda's inner circle is Grunt, Hipkins, Woods and Helen Clark. Angry Andy is forever protected because he stood aside to let Stalinda takeover as leader and I suspect because he knows where more than a few political "bodies" are buried. All the rest are just there for window dressing. Then there is Mahuta, Willie and the Maori faction, will be interesting to see if Stalinda allows the co-governance agenda to continue running....

I think it is more interesting that there are groups around the country that want to protest at her very presence. If people find out where she will be, they will protest. School openings in Chch, anywhere. And the fact that security details are trying to thwart this indicates it is a bigger issue for her than we would realise. Do any of you older foggies know if any other prime ministers used to get protested anywhere they went? What about Muldoon? The Rogernomics years? (who was PM then?) It is one thing not liking someone, and not wanting to vote for them. It is entirely another when there is so much anger out there that groups will track her movements and protest her any chance they can get. There is a lot of anger...

There were plenty of protests during Muldoon's time (don't know about the Lange/Rogernomics era), think Springbok tour, anti nuclear, Wanganui computer. But the difference was the protestors were regarded as generally being "fringe elements" whereas the protestors against Stalinda are by and large mainstream. The other thing about Muldoon was he never hid away, there was one protest, I think in Wanganui, where Muldoon actually laid into a protestor and the police had to pull him off. There was another occasion, told by John Street, where he was meeting with Muldoon about the infamous boat tax and Muldoon was poking him in the chest, Street told him do that one more time and I will flatten you.

I'm not aware of protestors trying to find the PM, and trying to protest at every public appearance though. Sure there have been big protests, and lots of protests about issues.
Is it because Adhern wont front the protestors that they keep coming after her? This whole ignoring the issue, spinning it to be 'not important' when it is hugely important for so many?

I just signed the petition "Jacinda Ardern: Make English an Official Language of New Zealand" and wanted to see if you could help by adding your name. Our goal is to reach 5,000 signatures and we need more support. You can read more and sign the petition here: chng.it/R7X7py8Zdq

On Saturday, Lord witnessed a man burning rubber in the street, crashing into cars and a power pole, and went door-knocking around his neighbourhood to find the culprit. However, when he found the offender, the man - who was drunk - swung at his face and attacked him."I watched it unfold and thought well it's my duty to report it to the police, but I don't know if it is a resident or a visitor so I just grabbed my umbrella and went door-knocking to find out where the car came from," Lord told The Project."I did not expect it to escalate to the level it did."Lord said he was left with a "Harry Potter scar" on his forehead but has no regrets about doing it.Lord and his son successfully managed to restrain the man until the police came to arrest him - but that isn't the end of the story......................On Monday the police revealed the same alleged offender was involved in another crash just hours later that hospitalised two women and two children, one just eight years old."It's gut-wrenching that he's put three or four people in hospital," Lord said."The police will probably be just as upset. They won't like the idea that they had to let him go, so it's a system problem.

NZ turning very fast into a shit hole full of bludgers, crime, murders, ...
The crims run the streets and lame Costa is no where to be seen. ....the Government tells the police how to police, Adrian Orr how to ruin the economy, who should stay in prison,....
Since these woke wankers have been in power they have spent billions failing to keep covid out, emptying out the prisons, throwing money at outcast minorities, fucking the housing market ( that kept the economy bouyant)...
NZ is fast becoming a 3rd world cluster fuck.
Everything is either broken, despite all the effort by these wankers to change what was never this bad. They're throwing money at everything but with no logical plan.
House is on the market. these fuckwits have destroyed a great country.

I think the people of Wellington need to harden up and wait to die quietly. Adhern decreed that all the Nurses and Doctors can't work, if they haven't been vaxxed, and you didn't complain then. So don't complain now. Even though everyone has had covid now, you can't let the nurses work. And Adhern wont pay the ones that are left anything, cause all the money - $880 million - was spent on MIQ so that Clarke's DJ mates could come and go as they pleased. PS Flu session hasn't even started yet... A Billy Joel's ode for Cindy. This is a parody version of Billy Joel's iconic love song, "She's Always A Woman To Me". Original words and music by Billy Joel. 2022 re-write and performance by Anto Coates. The new version is an ad-hominem homage to the world's most illiberal liberal, our socialist socialite, the lockdown-loving 40th Prime Minister of New Zealand, Jacinda Ardern. I hope you enjoy... rumble.com/v18vpvj-shell-always-be-cindy-to-me-a-love-song-for-jacinda-ardern.html

the Government is using the role and authority of the government statistician to provide an umbrella for extended data sharing across the entire range of government agencies, and unspecified non-government entities.
Longstanding obligations to protect confidentiality appear to have been watered down.
The Data and Statistics Bill will not operate with the strong legislative oversight and regulation of data sharing and data linkage across government that is in place elsewhere, such as the Australian Data Availability and Transparency Act 2022, or the United Kingdom Digital Economy Act 2017.
Only last week the prime minister wisely commented about trust in government being “something that can be built up over decades but torn down in mere years”. www.stuff.co.nz/opinion/129031126/new-law-could-undermine-confidence-in-official-statistics
