It's highly likely that she is in fact a cardboard cut-out ! NZ is being run (down) by a secret cartel comprising,amongst others, Helen Clark,Margaret Wilson,Heather Simpson,the Maori hierarchy whose names I don't recall. I fervently hope that the tide has turned. But who is to replace them. Luxon and National would likely cement most of what's been done. Seymour ? Maybe. But I went to a meeting and he played to the crowd when the going got rough. It's easy sitting on the sideline dropping mortars and telling punters what they want to hear. For my part 50% of NZ have got exactly what they wanted (and deserve !).They voted for change without knowing what that would be. Remember she never issued a policy statement. MMP is at the core of this. No MMP ,no Winnie,no Wicked Witch. Next election,if she decides to have one(she wants to 'have a conversation' about a 4 year) term will centre around ho's got the balls to undo this debacle. 3 waters,Maori favouritism,force feeding maori language,re writing history,to name a few,plus the biggie,fiscal devastation

The below is Seymours respone on FB to the 1,000's of messages asking him to get off his arse and do something. It is like he is taking instructions from Adhern. Very bad look. In all the coverage, MSM and independent, I have not seen any of these violent signs or messages. It is known that the Far Right are in the area and trying to cause trouble. To ignore this grass roots movement because of known agitators is the weakest thing I have ever seen. Esp from a party I thought was Libertarian.

Seymour could have addressed the crowd and made it very clear which aspects he supports (anti-mandate) and which he doesnāt (far right extremism).
WTF do Luxton and Seymour think their roles are? They are morally and duty-bound to show the people of NZ robust and differentiated opposition. They are just not doing that. They are just not performing in their roles. They need to be told and given a warning to step up or stand down if they canāt give NZ what it deserves and wants.

I want to do one of those Wild West style wanted ads, "Wanted, NZ govt opposition, missing in action, if anyone can find a govt opposition good luck. Reward - massive support from your Country" Labourās mandates are causing huge disruption and division and we need an alternative way forward. ACT is as pro-vaccination as anyone. But we have said since November that Labourās mandates went too far, that there should be the option of regular testing as a substitute, and that we should allow businesses to decide their own rules. We were once a team of five million uniting against COVID-19, but Ardernās āmy way or the highwayā approach to vaccine mandates is undoing that unity and replacing it with division. |
