Don't forget the green's golden rule "The usual rules and laws don't apply to them For they are better than everyone else!" as expressed by golritz and their welfare fraudster former leader Perhaps it is the 'any publicity is good publicity' mantra, so every month one of them deliberately does something mind-numbingly stupid to keep the media profile up? That's exactly it imo. They're just overpaid activists now. Look at Dame Chloe ranting on about from the river to the sea, then claiming she had no idea what it meant. They grow their vote by clickbait headlines. Same with the Maori party, neither Waititi or Ngarewa-Packer have any ambition to be in power and actually have some responsibility and to be held to account. They want to sit on the sidelines, snout buried deep in taxpayer trough, and get the odd clickbait headline to keep themselves 'relevant'.

I hope the speaker of the house punishes Genter, if not it will certainly get out of hand when David starts his TOW bill.

Lastest poll shows NZF under 4% and would be out. Maoris also under 4% stay in,is it due to maori seats that labour once held?

yes, if a party hold a 'seat' they don't need to be over 5% to stay in parliament and can bring in list mps
when winston had the 'seat' of 'tauranga' some years back, his party didn't to be over 5% to stay
because seymour has the 'seat' of epsom, act can also bring in 'list' mps even if they go below 5%
this is why it's so important for the greens that chloe won auckland central
TOP has never had a 'seat' and has never been over 5%, so have never been in parl.

Prime Minister Christopher Luxon was irked by questions from journalists following the Government’s announcement of funding for free school lunches on Wednesday, making a dig at a reporter for asking about what foods were and were not “woke”.“It’s all the big questions from TVNZ today, isn’t it? Fantastic,” Luxon said in response to a question about whether there was such a thing as “woke food”.The term “woke food” was lobbed into the debate about free school lunches by the Act Party’s X (formerly Twitter) account, which said: “We’ll be doing more with less money to feed kids the fruit and sandwiches their parents would, not woke food like quinoa and sushi.”In response, Luxon said: “I’d just say, given everything that’s going on in this country, do you think that is the most sensible question to be asking?”When told that it was language that Act had been using, Luxon said “and that’s news?”“Is it news today? Do you think that’s a really smart question - honestly?” he responded to the reporter.
...am surprised that 'micky mouse' didn't run with this as "breaking news"so glad i'm not paying for the hearld's biased crap www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/politics/christopher-luxon-in-a-huff-after-questions-over-woke-food-distraction-from-coalition-partner-act/SKHUJWS3T5GYLIXQDJ4JCYF4UE/

Headline could have been about how the coalition was extending the program to pre schoolers too, and funded it all after labour didn't budget for the program to continue. But that wouldn't fit the MSM agenda.

But that wouldn't fit the MSM agenda. I love how the MSM filter stuff. My father was going on about how much of a c*nt Seymour is because of this and that, cancelling school lunches etc - fairly sure Dad voted for him, but that is another story. Asked Dad, do you know how much a lunch costs? he didn't. He had a fit when I said $8 each (average), reckons that is twice what his lunch cost. Exactly. Fully sucked in by the MSM. Typical Labour, fully overspec the lunches with hot cooked meals. All they need is a sandwich and fruit. Boom. Nat/ACT doing it for $3each. I strongly support school lunches, break the poverty cycle, kids can't learn on an empty stomach etc, but $8 each for a mass produced (not bespoke) lunch was WAAAAYYYYY over-spec'ed.

there's "virtual signalling'
and actual "virtue"
and as we know from the marxist-greens and racist-party
it's easier to signal
than to be

Cam Slater on TVNZ thebfd.co.nz/2024/06/05/if-tvnz-was-a-dog-wed-put-it-down/citing The Ferald TVNZ is expecting a financial loss of up to $33 million this financial year – more than double what it originally expected – with a “significant” impairment to also hit the state broadcaster. It announced today it expected underlying operational losses of between $28m and $33m this financial year, which runs until June 30, following “challenging marketing conditions” in the second half.TVNZ had been originally forecasting a $15.6m loss this financial year. But it was already behind the eight ball when it posted its half-year results to December 31 – a $4.6m operational loss for the six months, with a $12.2m impairment. In addition to the underlying operational losses, TVNZ’s full-year result would include a significant impairment “acknowledging the impact TVNZ’s forecasted future earnings will have on its asset valuation”, the broadcaster said in a statement today. It did not state the size of the impairment.Slater comments Of course revenues are down, and I’ll tell you why. They’ve been lying about their audience numbers and advertisers have rumbled them about it.
You see, if you claim audience numbers are still high, then advertisers know that if they spend a certain amount on advertising then they’ll get a defined and proven return on that spending.
But the sales revenue for advertisers has dropped. The only logical explanation is that the audience has changed and dropped, and it is now increasingly found online. So advertisers have walked along with the audience.
TVNZ is likely terminal, and propping it up is pouring good money after bad.
Shoot it like you would a dog that won’t hunt.

Hey Muzled, how do you add an X tweet to a post per above? thanks CZ ah, so I click on 'Reply' in the box under the thread, that then puts the toolbar thingy with the options to change font, add pics, emoji's etc on the header. Then you'll see a globe icon with a sheet of paper, (to the left of the envelope icon). Click on that and it comes up with a Create Link box. I just past the URL of the link in the 'Text' box where is says link. Then save, and after a few secs you see the tweet etc. I do pictures the same way but using the Insert Image option. (but I haven't figured out an easier way other than uploading the image I want to post to postimage.org and pasting the URL in the Insert Image option)

Following the above just replicates the link address, I don't get the box that says "your tweet will appear here after you post??". x.com/CranmerWrites/status/1796317867174187165
