Listened to Elon on Rogans podcast yesterday. It was done pre the election. Very interesting and it's a special mind there.
When asked about the new job trying to get Govt Depts into line and more efficient it got real interesting. When asked 'Why is that needed?' Elon told of how SpaceX needs a permit to fly each rocket. The week they started building a new rocket they applied for a permit to fly it. The rocket sat finished on the pad for 2 months beforethe permit arrived. On sussing 18 agencies were involved in the permit and next to none of them spoke to each other. On deeper sussing 6 agencies did the exact same thing and 2 could not name what they did or even why they existed.
Also in a wee WTF considering Elon will now the muppets will be regarded even more far right than the most far rightest thing ever, said one possible suggestion that came up in a chat with Victor S...thingy the other dude with Elon, was to pay all Govt Workers who find their jobs disappeared 2 years full wages so they could retrain,start a business or other options. When Joe suggested the bill would be huge Elon reckoned it would be smaller than leaving their jobs open due to all the peripheral stuff and costs around that. Sounds like Elon and Victor(?) have been thinking about it quite hard.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Having failed to stop him thus far, Democrats have implemented their last-ditch attempt to prevent Donald Trump from taking office by starting World War 3.
While all efforts to indict Trump, remove him from state ballots, imprison him, and assassinate him were unable to keep him from winning a landslide victory in this month's presidential election, Democratic Party leaders were hopeful that their emergency plan of plunging the globe into nuclear conflict and a subsequent post-apocalyptic hellscape would do the trick.
"We hoped it wouldn't come to this, but we've got to do what's necessary," said one source within the Biden White House. "We tried every other plan to keep Trump from regaining power, but he still got re-elected. Now, in order to save America and democracy itself, we have no choice but to resort to our ‘scorched earth' plan. Literally scorched earth."
Top Democrats were confident that they would go down in history as heroes who prevented Trump from destroying the world by preemptively destroying the world to keep him from taking office. Yeah exactly and that’s what Trumps peace deal is about . Let Russia have the Donbas and Zaporizhzhia regions where a lot of that stuff is , Elon can mine the stuff and build more cars , batteries and just a few solar panels there . If Russia collapses before January , Zelensky can tell Trump and Elon to fuck right off and sell them the minerals instead . |
