Latest Roy Morgan poll, purely academic of course but interesting to observe the trends Party Vote National 37.5% (-0.6% from election) Labour 21.0% (-5.9%) Greens 12.5% (+0.9%) ACT 12.5% (+3.9%) NZ First 5.5% (+0.5%) Te Pāti Māori 2.5% (-0.6%) TOP 3.5% (+1.3%)
Interesting to see the big gain is by ACT and biggest loss is Labour, with TMP down slightly so all their antics are not pulling in any new support

Labour and Maori have lost 20 - 25% of their voters since election, small percentage of small percentage is actually a big percentage. MSM would call that a slight fall in support, some would call it plummeting.

Most large organisations also have a risk assessment approach. You never send all of your executives on the same jet. If it crashes, your organisation is fucked. (and all your executives). I assume the PM's (all of them, not just Luxon) want to travel by airforce jet since they have such a large group. All their staff, other Ministers and they take journo's as well. There is a massive risk if said unreliable jet crashes, we loose half our MSM and the brains trust of the govt. So if they all took commercial flights, and the group were spread across a handful of the dozens of trans tasman flights, the risk of loosing the govt brains trust is mitigated. I still reckon we should put all the journo's on the old and unreliable airforce jet though... Perhaps one of those 1960's C130's? (we could schedule the 757 for them, then last minute blame a warning light and switch them onto the old Herc)

Don't we have a few air force King Airs?
They can take 10ish bods up to 1600nm at 300 odd knots. There abouts.
And do it a lot cheaper than a 757.

Act I can see but can't work out why Labour dropped so much though. Maybe some did think they had the books and economy sorted but now see the truth. A guess but possible.

Real easy to get military aircraft or naval vessels even tanks. Drop the bloody anti nuclear bullshit and the Americans will deliver it tomorrow.

Looks like Defence pulled out all the stops to get pencil dick head and his entourage to Canberra.
Must of been a step down for him travelling on a plane that went out of production 2 decades ago.
Hopefully no time at all is wasted discussing 501 deportee's which seems to be the topic of the day.
A government tough on crime would deal with them when they arrive instead of letting them walk free in the community...

I'm sure Luxon could chat to his old employer to see if they can operate a nice 20-30 seater which can double as the PM/Ministers ride when required. Brand it up NZ big time with small AirNZ logos so they can use it for fill in work or as part of their charter fleet when not needed by the Govt.
AirNZ will be a mother load cheaper than the Air Force in all regards I'd expect.
As the Govt owns AirNZ it could make that happen if it wanted.

Ok we have got the 90 days trial back. Does that apply to parliamentarians? including Act/Nat NZF leadership?
