James has put a huge target on his back which the muppets are going after hardcore already. But in going full hardcore near instantly does prove the naysayers know James is right.
For too long I had a fear our future would be Chloe's and the likes but after hearing James said I'm happier all hope is not lost. A bit the same with the Tama dude as well, he speaks very well and is obviously a threat judging by the attacks aimed at him already.

Groundswell, drop the self-importance. The 21st century called, and it's leaving you behind. Quit the stubborn act, embrace change, or enjoy being a relic in the dust of progress. Time to wake up and smell the innovation. spoken like a classic naive wokester who believes everything their tv tells them. Thought you were leaving this site?

Are you saying you only want to eat food grown in a lab? Nope, no personal food preferences here. Lab-grown food? It's a hot topic for sustainability and ethics, but tastes differ. Your plate, your call. So, if you think our farmers are wrecking the climate and the environment, are you a vegan? Our country was built on farming. Our Productivity is already extremely low, and we are throttling one of our few productive sectors with nonsense regulations - banning feeding of cows in winter in Southland for example. We already have some of the most efficient farmers in the world with regard to carbon. So c'mon, walk the talk, are you vegan? And what is the basis of your diet? I'll bet a good bottle of whisky you've eaten numerous items that were grown on a farm in the last week. Even my Green Party candidate mate concedes he eats food grown on farms. It is kind of hard to survive without it.

Groundswell, seriously, it's like they're stuck in the past while everyone else is moving forward. We've got cool new stuff like fancy tech and ways to help the planet, but they're all about old-school things. It's not just about catching up; it's like they're hanging onto the past like it's the coolest thing ever. While others are into new ideas, Groundswell is acting like nostalgia is the latest trend. So, Groundswell, maybe it's time to swap those old gadgets for some new ones and join the fun. The world is changing, and they might want to keep up before they become the friend who still thinks flip phones are all the rage. Wakey-wakey, time's ticking!

It is kind of hard to survive without it. Efficient and sustainable farming practices are crucial, and many farmers are making efforts to reduce their environmental footprint. The conversation often involves finding a balance between agricultural productivity and minimizing environmental impact. As for your challenge, I appreciate the point you're making. It's true that our daily lives are deeply connected to agriculture, and finding sustainable solutions that support both the environment and productivity is a challenge.

Lol. The good news is that Federated farmers and Beef & Lamb are starting to push back just as hard.
The funny thing is the wokesters are the first to squeal like a stuck pig when the price of their food goes up. No connection with reality.

Cool to see Federated farmers and Beef & Lamb standing their ground. It's just funny how some folks scream about sustainability but then freak out when prices go up. Reality check needed, right? Thoughts on finding a balance?

The loopy left "we must punish the most efficient farmers in the world with endless and pointless compliance costs"
Also the loopy left "we need a government enquiry as to why food costs are so high"
A simple bunch those wokesters. Super pleased they are currently being purged from decision making positions all through the government sectors.
Hey weren't you leaving this site Duckfiddler?

If you did genuinely want to push for a big change that would make a massively bigger difference to the climate then go after concrete, the biggest emitter on the planet and a substance that is the the very core of any city thrive on. But you won't do that will you as it is easier to bitch at others than take action yourself.
The Jacinda Theory someone referred to that as the other week. I'm still processing that one a little.

Groundswell are hearing the below rumours of pressure on the Govt: The celebration is over and we've been busy planning and keeping an eye on the promises the new Government made for their first 100 days in office. Unfortunately, we have heard through our channels that the Government is coming under immense pressure from green-activists in the public service, business, and the media. The problem is that our elected representatives (past and current) seem to be far more afraid of the 'green lobby' than they are of Kiwi farmers and rural communities. We want to work with this Government to see their promises fulfilled. They are talking the right talk! But mark our words, if promises are broken we will have no choice but to mobilise once more. We are working on a small website to monitor the progress of the Government on their 100 day promises. In particular, we are keeping our eyes on SNAs, Freshwater Rules, the Ute Tax, and the Methane Tax. We've been told that two of them are looking pretty shaky already 🤫 We'll be in touch next week with details. Getting the thread back on track, the point with this message is that democracy has spoken, the Country elected a govt based on stated policies and we gave them the mandate to do it. Now the green-activists in the public service, business, and the media appear to be trying to usurp that democratic process.

Being vegan has nothing to do with improving agricultural processes.
It's astounding that you muppets can't read. The whole purpose of being on a forum is that you read the whole message and not cherry pick the bits you think apply.

The only thing I see of relevance in the 100 day plan is dropping the ute taxes and repealing 3 waters. It's nothing to do with Green activists, that's just an easy out for explaining the reality that political parties makes promise without understanding the true impact or impossibility of following through with them.
