She is not the Democrats presidential candidate, yet. Maybe in the minds of the Democrat biased MSM trying to influence voters in advance.
If it should come to happen that she is confirmed as candidate, Trump will just sit back and let her shoot herself in the foot, as she has already demonstrated her expertise multiple times. If you need proof, look how he let Biden in the debate show himself up.

Let the games begin: the Propaganda Games.
The opening event, as is traditional, is the Poll Vault in which left-leaning pollsters skew numbers to suit the desired outcome. First out of the blocks - Reuters/Ipsos - is uncritically boosted by the truly gullible, the very stupid; like NZ Herald for example: "Kamala Harris more popular than Trump, new poll shows", except it doesn't.
What it shows is the partisanship of the propagandists. In a republic where registered voter numbers are (very) evenly split between registered Democrats and Republicans, and have been for at least three decades (the current split Dem: 32%, Rep: 33%, Independent: 35%) Reuters/Ipsos weight their 'poll' respondent numbers Dem: 37%, Rep: 33%, Ind: 30% and voila! "Harris led Trump by 44% to 42% among registered voters in the national Reuters/Ipsos poll, conducted on Monday and Tuesday, local time, after Biden dropped out of the contest" (NZH)  That's hardly medal-worthy: a 5 percentage point skew produced only a 2% advantage to Harris. Don't expect to see Reuters/Ipsos on the propaganda podium these games, they'll need to do much better.
The other event: the $100M Sprint for Donations was a much worthier spectacle that has produced headlines all over the short-memory world. Record-breaking! Amazing! $100M in just 24 hours. This was achieved by cleverly ignoring the widely reported story of $90M in Democrat donations being withheld until Sleepy Joe took a nap off the campaign trail - from NY Times, less than two weeks ago, and one of the main drivers for knifing Mr Biden: Joe withdraws, the donations are un-frozen, and it's all thanks to Super-Harris. Yes; Dear. Of course it is. Zero for credibility, but a Gold in the propaganda stakes. Bravo!

So say the republicans crash the federal reserve in January by blocking the vote to raise the debt ceiling . Trump or Vance win the presidency and usher in an “unregulated” crypto currency , what are the ramifications for the global economy ? I can’t find any concrete info past the fact the sky is gonna fall in and a bunch of Sci Fi geeks are going to have more crypto than the rest of us .
Can anyone elaborate on the finer details of what the global financial situation would look like without the US dollar ?

A lot of that is way above my paygrade, but I'd say Adhern's ban on oil and gas exploration would look like a very bad idea. And I'd probably stock up on solar panels ahead of time. Given oil is traded in USD, it would be great if we had our own oil / gas for a bit of energy security. Sure, anything can be traded in any currency you want. I'd expect the Euro, GBP, Yen and Yuan to get more traction. But doing a deeper dive down the rabbit hole, would be damage to US financial institutions. I can see Trump looking at the debt ceiling issue and just say, fuck it, abandon the USD, adopt crypto, massively devalue the USD so they can pay down all their debt cheap, or even just do a full on default on the US debt, burn the place down and walk away. Argentina have done it a few times. If the US did it, I'd expect a massive contagion amongst global financial institutions, which would trigger a Global Financial Crisis 2.0 The other big risk, if the US default on their debt, then almost every Euro country would want to do the same as well. Greece would be first off the rank, Britain has crippling govt debt right now too. If I didn't know better, it would trigger the collapse of the western worlds finance system. China and Russia would wee themselves with delight. North Korea and Iran wouldn't let the opportunity go either. |

While the USD is massive in international trade it has become a lot less so over the last 10 years and continues to be less.
If the USD stopped being the 'It' currency everyone could pivot to others fast and easily. We use to do so much in USD but these days it's diminishing fast. About all we use it for now is Fortress Anchors (made in Florida) and to pay 2 smaller Chinese companies and we do in to a US bank so we suspect maybe some washing it happening. Otherwise we pay in local currency or Euros.
If the US defaults on it's loans who knows but everything is so intertwined it'll be messy. It's weird as say the US owes China $XYZ billions but then China owes the US $ABC billions. Basically everyone owes everyone. I've always wondered why all Ministers of Finance don't meet somewhere with their cheque books and pay off all their debts. Just make an agreement everyone will bank the checks at 9am on Tuesday and just hold their water until X hours/days later so all get a chance to clear. Boom, massive amounts of dept gone just like that. But sadly that unlikely to happen as too many make far too much coin from all that debt.
